Tourniquet Challenge #2: 10 kilos in 8 weeks Monday 18th June-Sunday 5th August,2012
G’day Following on from our first Tourniquet Challenge http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13781 here we are with our second Tourniquet Challenge This is a 10 kilo in 8 week Challenge This Challenge is about the fit of our clothes, and how the weight loss makes our clothes more comfortable! I am starting this from today, Monday 18th June, and it will run through to Sunday 5th August (8 Sundays). Weigh dates are the Mondays – so today, and each Monday including Monday 6th August to cover off on the 8 weeks. Measurements are as per the size of your waisted skirts, pants or jeans. Please record your morning weight and the pant or jean size you are wearing Today Monday 18th June, and if they are Tourniquet Fit, Tight Fit, or Trim Fit. If you miss weighing or measuring today, you are welcome to join this Challenge anytime through this week up to next Monday based on your weight and clothing size when you joined. Those of us who Challenged in Tourniquet #1 have achieved a better fit or are now wearing a smaller size of clothing Have a look through your wardrobe and choose a couple of items you have kept for when you could fit them again. By the end of this Challenge you may be wearing them again – at least for a couple of weeks, before you lose more weight and those favoured items will then be too big! Won’t you join us? Be there or be square! Cheers Kristine |

oh oh oh pick me pick me -
my starting weight 124.1kgs as of this morning, pants size, currently size 20, muffin top most pants and some won't even do up - i'm aiming to be able to do these up comfortably or go down a size in 8wks. the bulk of my size 20 clothes can get up my legs but buttons don't meet. i can't even remember the last time i was in a size 18 which is pretty sad but i'm definately up for this challenge sign me up!!! thanks

Hi kristine......
I'm in too. Weighed in at 69kg this morning......,tourniquet size 12, still a comfortable 14. Which one do I choose??? I have no 'regular' clothes in any sizes except 6-8 due to last round cohens, and everything I have is a range of size 8-16 in maternity!!!!! So I'll have to dig something out today that's my tourniquet outfit!!!! |

I'm in too! Probably won't make the 10 kg as I expect losses to slow down but if I can make it into the 50's I'd be soooo stoked!
Current weight 68.2kg. Pant size 12 skinny jean (elasticated waist tho) between a tight & comfortable fit. Best I can do |

Re: Tourniquet Challenge #2: 10 kilos in 8 weeks Monday 18th June-Sunday 5th August,2
Ok, got my challenge.
I have a gorgeous pair of size 10 slim leg jag jeans that are just beckoning me to wear them again. It seems soooooo ambitious to think that by the end of 8 weeks I'll fit them, maybe its too ambitious. Tried them in this morning. Can get the legs up, but the zip is no where near coming together let alone joining. As I've never done one of these 8 week challenges I have no idea what to expect. If I lose relatively well, then I should be within 5 kilos of goal at the end........I can't tell you how much the excites and motivates me. A comfortable 14 on the bottom right now, so a big job ahead of me, but fingers crossed I'll get there and I can't wait to be cheering you all on along the way!!!!! |

Re: Tourniquet Challenge #2: 10 kilos in 8 weeks Monday 18th June-Sunday 5th August,2
Umm I'm only weighing in at least every 2 weeks, in actually fact it's been monthly so far this time, hope that doesn't affect you too badly kristine, sorry if it does.
I can't bear to weigh this week.......TOM and all so I'll check in with something to report next week. Definitely got a pair of size 12 jeans that fit though, so all good at the moment!!! |

Re: Tourniquet Challenge #2: 10 kilos in 8 weeks Monday 18th June-Sunday 5th August,2
Weight today 85 kgs so I recorded my lowest loss so far on the program of 500gms.
A bit dissapointing but a loss is a loss and I have read this on other diaries so many times. I'll pop in later to see how everyone else is going !!! |

I would like to join this challenge, my weight as of today is 98kg I have a pair of 16 jeans that I can fit into but feel like they are painted on and dont even think about bending over or sitting down in them. I am 3.5 wks into my Cohens journey so this will help keep me motivated.
