Greetings from sunny South africa
I have been on cohens now for 5 weeks and have lost 8.2kg. I still have another 8 to go and was wondering how fast you loose in the second month. i am wanting to get through this as soon as possible to make life easier as I have got 2 young kids and a husband that travels a lot. I must say i have not found the diet difficult at all. Just sometimes miss the odd glass of wine. Anyway need to go and make supper for the little ones so will chat again later. Cheers Jammy

Hey Jammy.. welcome & well done..
everyone loses weight at different rates, so it's a very much wait & see.. but for me my 2nd month & so on was half of my first.. I had one month about 3/4 through that was slow but that was due to too much stress & too much physical activity.. Hope this helps.

It sure is great to see some SA's on here. Regarding your question, everybody looses at different rates. But in my 1st month I lost 12 kilos, and in my second 8. Best wishes for you Love Liddie

Thanks guys. i have almost reached 10. My consultant told me today taht she is going to order my refeed as I don't need to have another blood test even though I have still got 6 more to go. So when the refeed comes i am going to study it like a bible and work out an eating plan. I will be ready to deal with the whole thing in full force.

I LOVED refeed, it was the bit I enjoyed the most..

They are and it feels amazing. i am just wondering about how low I should go. My consultant said I should not go to the bottom of Cohen's goal weight. So willl have to see when I get there.
What a day i had. I have a 70th birthday tomorrow, i made a greek chocolate cake, chocolate cupcakes. I am so sick of seeing chocolate. Luckily I never ate cake before Cohen's.

WOW.. good self control
..Regarding your weight loss & how low you should go.. I always say trust your own body to tell you.. I think by the time we get to where our bodies REALLY want to be it lets us know.. How come your consultant doesn't think you should go to the lower end?
