Default Old Plan or New Plan?

Hi,

I started Cohen's about 2 years ago and lost about 15kg in 3 months, bringing my weight down to 53kg (which was totally awesome). However, I didn't complete refeed, cuz I didnt realize how important it is. I only understood it after reading the info on this forum. My consultant told me to complete it cuz if I didnt I'd put on weight easily. Anyway, this has happenend, and I am back at my old weight.

Now I'm planning to go back again because only Cohen's gives me the discipline I need. I've done Herbalife, gyms and circuit training and none of it has worked, cuz I love to eat and will find any excuse to do so.

I have a question. Since I plan to do Cohen's again, I will be buying a new plan. However, I will be going away for 3 weeks in Nov and will not be able to stick to Cohens. I wont be ready for re-feed by then. So should I stay on my old plan from now until I leave and then get my new plan when I'm back? Or should I order my new plan now?

Wud appreciate any thoughts on this

thanks a mil!

Your blood makeup will have changed, so you need to use a new plan. Using the old one will work for a while but will also mean you will have to go off cohens before having a blood test to get the new plan as using the old one will make your results false I beleive.

If I were you I would discuss the trip and the plan with your clinic - where are you going where you can't stay on the plan? There are a lot of us who travelled and still stayed on plan ( I did Fiji ).

ladydenning,

I would suggest you have a read of Barczar's diary (currently doing the program and down around 34kg in 3 months). He travels throughout SE Asian virtually 80% of the time and he's running at 100% DF. IF YOU WANT TO BE 100% you CAN find a way. Lot's of us have done it. Or read Maya's Diary she flew between her home in europe and working as a cook & guide on a dive boat out of Florida during her entire journey with Cohen's. It's up to you.......

Which is more important? Your health or eating off the program? Your conscious can be your guide.......

HI everyone,

I'm actually going on a trip to Inner Mongolia. Its mostly backpacking and I'm not too sure what kind of veg I will be able to get. Anyway, will speak to the clinic. They've told me to just go ahead and order the new programme but if i really cant stick to it then its ok to deviate while I'm away. So, that's why I thought I'd get a 2nd opinion.

thanks

Hi There,

Have you had a blood test yet? If you start the plan then deviate for 3 weeks it will be so much harder to get back on the wagon and you will feel like dirt. If I was going backpacking I would start when Im back and eager to get 100% into it.

Have fun.

I agree with Ronky, Ladydenning. Staying 100% on Cohen's while backpacking in Inner Mongolia would really be a challenge. Start on the new programme after you get back.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).
