Default Addicted to cabbage! Please help :(

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie, and today is Day 9 of the program for me! So far, so good, except one thing-I can't seem to steer clear of cabbage! I mean, it tastes great and is super easy to make, which keeps me going back to it for virtually every meal...

Could someone please enlighten me on whether this cabbage-frenzy of mine is going to have any negative repercussions on the weight-loss process or on overall health?

I have stuck to the weights and EP 100%, but im wondering if a lack of variety can sabotage or slow the weight loss...

Any advice?

I think it may make you a bit wiffy! LOL. Cabbage tends to make me f@rt!

I don't think the lack of variety will cause you too much harm. I have pretty much been eating the same few dishes throughout the program and I have had steady weight loss. You might find you'll be over cabbage in a couple of weeks and be onto something new anyway.

Anyway, a cabbage obsession has to be better for you than my former chocolate obsession!

Hey bf94...

I am a creature of habit and have been on the program for nearly 11 months and I eat the same things all the time.

Just cabbage? No other veggies? Maybe you should try other recipes that has a lot of veggies in it, that will also include your cabbage! Try mixing other veggies!

I ate mushrooms every single day while I was doing Cohens and still lost weight, I think as long as you are sticking to the right food and the right weights it doesn't matter what you eat. When you get bored with cabbage you'll try something else anyway. Just make sure you have a good multi vitamin.
