Default Peter 14.7 hit 10kg lost today!

It official!!! :!:

I know this figure is nothing huge compared to others but

as of this morning I have lost 10.2kg! I am SUPER PUMPED!

I had to triple check as I kept seeing 102.8kg not 101.8kg. I think my mind had 10kg mark as a mental block. That's a surprise?

Sooooo close to my first goal of 99kg or under 100kg. This diet is fabulous.

Thanks to Asy and Kristine for their introduction and support and “butt kick” from Kristine when needed.

Starting to fit comfortably into older t shirts, etc...Feeling Great.

Well done Pete, and you did it in quick time too ! Make sure you don't get annoyed when you see the weight reduction slow down though. I'm looking forward to your post when you break into double figures.

Hi Baloo

Yeah I have moved fast so I am prepared for slow or reverse. I do have the huge advantage of working from home so every meal is exact, easy to prepare and I can select the protein I feel like at the time.

I had one day of reverse so I am going to fully complete your spread sheet. I note in your backward steps are usually after a cheese meal day so I thought this would be good for me to work out if any food triggers the same.

FYI I moved about 0.8kg per day the first week and 0.4kg the second and third week.

Knowing most dieters lose 1.5kg to 2kg a week I should end up around 0.2-0.3g a day average.

Yes the 200~300grams/day is spot on I think for long term loss. We may want to lose 5KG/week. Imagine in the supermarket what a 1.5 or 2.0KG lump of pig fat looks like, could you imagine in in our bodies? We can be very very statisfied that we can metabolise out of our systems such a usless lump of cr*p in just 7 days!

For me the loss has slowed down considerably once I was 5KG under Dr Cohens goal weight for me.

Congratulations. Also being new to the program - I started the last week of January - I know exactly how you're feeling. My offical weigh in the first week I lost 3.6kgs!!!!! I nearly fell off the scales

Now coming up to 7 weeks and about 14kgs - my clothes don't fit me anymore. I'm gradually starting to fit back into clothes that I was fast growing out of.....

This is the best thing that I have ever done for myself and can clearly see it is for everyone else as well.

Gotta love that!!

I like that analogy of the pig fat. It is truly amazing what our bodies can do.

But in some ways, it makes commonsense.

I had old mower given to me. Run poorly and cut terribly. I thought I would get a new one.

But I replaced the blades, cleaned the tray, cleaned the spark plug and fitted an air filter. It now cuts perfectly and goes strong.

Our bodies are complex machines but still machines to keep us alive.

Get it working right and it all comes into place.

A BIG THANK YOU to all for your support and kind comments.

I feel like I am on a natural high with the results of this diet.

I have extra energy. I can bend down to pick up things without puffing and cutting into my gut. I can chase aftermy daughter. My knees dont hurt. My feet dont ache. Etc...

At the cafe today, (coffee only) friends told me I needed new jeans as the size 40 were baggy around the butt ( Kristine was right).

And I still have heaps to go.

WhenI was last 75kg I was 25 and instructing aerobics at a gym.

When I hit 75kg again I wil be so light and strong I feel I could do anything as a sport.

I have a special treat (not food ) set aside for when I go under 100kg so keep watching my diary.

Thanks to all.

Close!

For fathers day last year my wife got me a race package of 3 laps in V8 Supercar around Calder Park, NW Melbourne.

Takes all day. Training etc.. You actually get to drive.

My 8 year old nephew will be stoked.

On the Ferrari matter, I went to Melb Motor Show last week and sat in a 612 Scagaletti. I meet the salesman by chance after we sat adjacent at local restaurant and my toddler daughter charmed him and his wife.

Another goal. Maybe for one year after losing and holding the wieght? Thanks for the idea Baloo.

It is amazing how much our bodies want to "repair", "reenergize" and "heal" if we give them the chance, but for years we just kept on feeding them the wrong fuels and the wrong foods and our bodies just couldn't keep up and just stored away all this cr*p. 3 months after quiting smoking (eg. my friends) or me on the diet our bodies really can radically change, start repairing and get back a level of health that we had forgotten. Waking up not feeling as tired, more concentration, more interest in doing physical stuff, never as exhausted at the end of a work week as before, if I get tired I go to bed and wake up fine in the morning I dont need to sleep in feel like being lazy at home anymore. (Secret men's business, girls close your eyes now => a reinvigoration of the "wedding tackle", particularly on week days <= girls can open eyes now).

Well, thanks for sharing that with us, lessfatty, at least your wife will be smiling about something this program has achieved!

Cheers
