Welcome to the forum, Hannah! Congrats on taking your first step on this amazing journey! You will be so pleased with the results, and you will be done and dusted in no time! Don't worry about the losses slowing down, that's perfectly natural. Your body can't sustain losing that many kilos per week, and most people end up losing on average a little over a kilo per week.

You might want to get yourself a ticker, that makes it a bit easier to track your progress. The instructions are here:

http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3484

Good luck, I look forward to hearing more about your journey!

hi tiny toon, actually Dr cohens set my goal weight between 52kg -55kg,but i hope i can reach 50kg then do my refeeding and hope can lose another 2 kg if possible to reach 48kg,since i have never been 40's in my whole life,i hope i'm not too ambitious and set my self to fail
me too, i stuck at 58.2 kg almost 2 weeks and can't seem to get 57kg in my 1st month of cohen's.I think so far i'm the slowest weight lost in the 1st month among everyone i suppose to lose minimum 4kg every month, but next tueday will be my full one month of cohens, but i seems like just lose 3.2kg until today, unlike other ppl lost bout minimum 7 kg the1st month. I think my second month will be even slower since i read from others they mentioned the 1st month suppose to be the fastest..so depreesed

You have to remember you don't have very much to lose, Hannah, and that tends to make the weightloss 'slower' than if you had more to go. Just remember though, the loss that you've had is 30% of your total! Many people here would kill for that percentage!

With your goal, rather than focusing on the numbers, listen to your body. It will tell you when it is at its equilibrium. Going far beyond that might make you sick, and we don't want that to happen.

Chin up, chicky! Remember that it's a good thing to have to stay on the program for a few months because it will cement the new habits that you are trying to get. Don't look at it as something that you must rush through, but as a lifelong journey, where this is the first step.

Have a great week!

After 2 weeks of plateu, my body finally start moving again. Today is my full cohen's one month, this morning after i emptied my bladder(told by Dr cohen's) and then measured my self. I was so happy to see my self lost another 0.2kg!! eventhought is not alot, but the last 2 weeks i was so stress due to no progress at all. Thought did something wrong, read the mannual again and again to make sure i still stick to cohen's like glue.So worried that i accidentally ate something unconsiously. Anyway, glad that i still lost weight. Now i really don't mind is a bit slow, but more worry if i just stand.

The less you stress, the better. Look at Vee and myself. Too much worrying over studying has had us both going veeeeery slowly lately. But once you stop worrying and stressing, you're usually rewarded with a big drop!

Feeling very tired today, catch a cold. This is my first time get sick after cohen's. Took some panadol and clarinase. Hopefully will get well by tomorrow. had very bad constipatition, spend nearly an hour in toilet yesterday. Eventhought my consultant told me is ok to have bowel movement twice a week since the amount of food we consumed most of them will used up. But after yesterday's suffer i decided to try to go to toilet no matter there is urge or not,if not i'll take some laxative (made of herb-senokot) to help me. No mood to cook for tomorrow tonight

I'm sorry you've been feeling under the weather, Hannah. Hopefully you'll get over it soon and get some movement happening. I'd recommend coloxyl with senna for the laxative. It's worked wonders for me when there were issues in that department

Something unusual hapened this morning. I just weight my self last sunday and i dropped 0.5kg weight 57.4kg. This morning is my sixth week of cohens, i weight my self again in the morning, din't put too much hope, just wish that my weight don't go up instead cuz TOM is near. Suprisingly i dopped 1 kg weight 56.4kg!! Dropped 1 kg in 2 days??!! can't belived my eyes, thought something wrong with my digital scale or din't put properly on flat groud, re-check again, but was ok, re-calibrate it with my dump bell, was ok too. Just can't imagine this, my weight drop progress was so slow last 2 weeks,in the range of 0.1-0.5kg range, but this morning i lost 1 kg!! really amazing...
