Default VERY excited

Here I am on day 1. By end of it I can tell you I certainly felt like crap, very tired, headaches, argh so much fun!
But so worth it, I am very excited to be on the Cohens diet. I am going to be so determined!!!
I am lucky I have enlisted many to support and help me.
I will not do this alone and fail as I have other times.
Tomorrow will be better!
Wh00p!!!

Whooo hooo. Good for you Ruby Red.

I'm having my 3rd weigh in tonight - so far I've lost 4kgs.

A word of advice - drink lots of water. Rule of thumb is for every 25-30kg you need to drink 1lt of water. I weight 150+ so I have to take in 5lt's a day. It really does help with the headaches as the toxins are flushing out regularly.

Remember to make you food delicious and use your herbs - makes a difference.

It takes 21 days to break a habit, 28 days for your appetite to shrink (I've done so much research on weight loss)

All the very best.

Hi Ruby,

Welcome - I'm sure you'll find lots of support here too....

I did want to point out an oft-quoted (yet not always agreed with) suggestion that was posted in a reply to you :-

All I want to say to that is that I am NOT sure this comes from Dr Cohen. From what I hear from consultants, most Plans say "Two to three litres of water daily". Some exceptions are made, in harsher environments, or for specific individuals. I'd say "follow your Plan", and/or check with your consultant before going overboard with water.

Asy once pointed out that she would have had to drink SEVEN litres daily at her start weight !! Too much water is not good either.... so beware.

And LouBean, I hope you are drinking 5 litres with your consultant's knowledge and blessing.... or as prescribed in your Plan... Please don't overdo it,

Koh

Kohinoor - I drink between 4-5 lt's a day - I live in SA and specifically on the east coast - it's get's extremely hot and humid here. I understand everyones' plans are different. The point is drink all your water that is recommended as it is very important in flushing out your toxins. Yes you can over do it, but always check with your consultant (and even your doctor) to make sure (that is what I did)

Well had me first weigh in, 5kg down in 2 weeks, 26cms GONE, blitzin it babyyyy!!!
I went to a party last week, holy hell, there was this MASSIVE plate of creamy cauliflower cheesey stuff, naturally I wanted to encase my whole head in it. My brain was saying "Kimmie if you cant eat it, why not wear it"!!Friends were offering me sushi etc, im like noooo noooooo NOPEEEE!, Surely one cant hurt, I said it will kill me, i will wither up n die so dont ask me again or ill stay fat forever man!
So they all were blown out.
Im so chuffed, I still wanna sometimes eat my arm off, but I go and read the forums, occupy myself with ways to clean my untidy house which usually means moving crap from one side of the join to the other.
I paint me nails, I drink water, make coffee, call a friend, anything to distract me.
I am SO determined!!!
I have noticed my grose habits and plan on breaking them big time!
Roarrrrrr watch out!

now to sort this ticker thingy-me-bob....I have no idea what im doing duh!

Yep yep, im a cow like that, LOVE saying er NO bugga orf with those dam chippies.....there is always doubters, as im sure they have heard it a thousand times that I will do this, but nope this is different.
Just some back ground here too.
1996 I was prolly one of the first to get a gastric band here in Perth. Naturally it was very new then, was too low, caused me so much trouble so I met another man who said he would remove it and then he stapled up my tummy.
SO initially I DID loose 70 kilos. I had started from 165kg.
I got down to to 90 odd kg, was very exciting, but then life took hold and I have regained back 24.5 kg, which is extremely disappointing on my behalf, BUT life, circumstances, natural disasters, you name it, it happened.
I could write a book, it is seriously so rediculous I do laugh about it all. Well now I do, then I was just a big fat sad whiney thing lol.
SO now, let the rest come off, I KNOW i shall hit that 65kg mark, I can feel it, I can taste it and with a forum like this, omg, im gonna go off like a frog in a sock!!!
I want to hit 65, I will do it, there is no stopping me
Hey you guys, you are so inspirational, im just loving your replies and your handy posts on how to get through, so much positivity on here, very rare in my opinion to a program. Hell im loving it!!!!
