Where is the best apple slice recipe thread, please?

Hi All
Have heard others talking about apple slice - there seems to be a few versions around - which one works well?
I am a little bit over the apple crumble and would like to try something that simulates an apple slice - any suggestions?
Or recommendations for other sweetie treaties - needing a sweet something to finish off the night

Hi Guys,

I found one after reading this thread but i can't find it again!

lay a salada in the corner of a tupperware container

stew a diced apple in a tablespoon or so of water with a sprinkle of cinnamon and sweetener

mash apple and spread on cracker

Top with another salada and pop in the fridge for at least 2 hours but preferably over night

sprinkle with sweetener and serve

SO AMAZING!! it feels like I'm cheating!

Okay - well I really did enjoy this.
Didnt think it would be awesome - let's face it, it wasnt like a normal apple slice (I didnt add any sweetener to the top) but it was a pretty good substitute.
Would definitely make it again!!

Apple slice recipe sounds awesome. I did Cohens last year and lost 12 kg. Had to stop for family reasons but I'm on it again - goal to lose another 12 kg and reach goal weight

Oh wow thanks so much - this apple slice recipe of Gemsta's has made me a very happy girl indeed. I use sprite to sweeten it though and then I leave a bit of extra juice at the bottom to soak into the crackers - I use premium.'
