Default "challenges"

Hi all...

I am interested in the challenges section of the forum, but I don't understand it.

And I am too scared to post in there, as every thing looks to be closed or no one active in there, so I figured 'how the forum works' would be the next best thing.

I really liked the idea of getting a little "signature" reward for keeping up the water and for being deviation free and the 10kgs in 10 days one... I did post in the DF free challenge, so I guess that one is active, but what about the others?

What's the go there people? Is is just a quiet time?

Thanks,

xMissy

Hi lil doll,

Yep, they are still happening - you WILL find many closed threads (but they will be older challenges that are now complete - check their start/stop dates). You'll find the latest one of each type will be operational.

Unlike diaries, though, people don't post everyday - these things run over weeks - most just reply once a week.

And only one allows the "mango" - that's the Dfree one - if you've signed up, you need to stay Dfree for 2 weeks to "win" your mango sig.

The Waterwise challenge allows the "water-bottle" sig - not sure if that is still running, just a matter of looking I guess (I saw YOUR post here before checking there).

The others running are "10Kgs in 6 weeks" and "10Kgs in 8 weeks" - both seem to indicate that they accept new members at any time (UNLIKE the DFree one). These have no "sig reward" - they are more for camaraderie....

BTW, nothing to stop YOU starting a challenge - have a look down some of the old, closed titles to see some ideas....

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!
