Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any pressure cooker recipes?

I just purchased a new one before I restarted Cohens.

Appreciate any help.

Hi Pippen,

I too have a pressure cooker at home, but I mostly used to make soup. However, looking at Cohen's recipe most of the cooking are fairly easy/quick/simple.. hence having pressure cookers (to me) may only increase the time in doing the dishes..

For me, the meat/poultry after cooking with pressure cooker, normally lost its taste ( became a bit bland)

Anyway, do try the soup recipes to see if it works?

I think the main reason there are no pressure cooker recipes is that everything must be weighed raw individually. If you put any more than one ingredient in the cooker then how will you divide it equally and down to the gram? The only way you can really 'batch cook' on this plan is to weigh out (for example) 4 portions of beef and cook it all together and then divide it equally (using the scales to ensure they are all the same) once it is cooked. You'd then need to do 4 portions of veg (doesn't matter if these are mixed up) and then divide them equally too. You will find that they weigh a lot less once cooked and it will not divide as you expect it to. Not to mention the fiddling around with containers and weighing at the end. Sorry I can't be more helpful! xx
