Michelle's diary
I am new to the group and am going to restart with Cohen again tomorrow. I have my eating plan since 2008 and lost about 23 kgs back then. At that time I was living in the Netherlands and was visiting a diet centre who facilitated the Dr. Cohen 1st personal diet program. It was not a cheap program however it worked out really well for me and I felt absolutely great!! Since then we have migrated in 2010 to Perth WA and over the years the weight has slowly crept back on. After doing several diets and being back in yoyo mode with my weight I was slowly losing my motivation. I heard myself saying to my husband the only diet that worked really well for me was the Cohen diet. So went through my cupboards looking for my eating plan, recipe book and my maintenance program book. Found them all and have been reading through everything again. I signed up to this forum in 2010 but did not really engage. Now 12 years later I am all set to start again. I know the first few days will be hard and I am quite terrified by that as I do not want to fail!!! So any tips are welcome I have been browsing through the threads on this forum and there is a lot of info which i think will be very helpful. Cheers, Ozzie |

Re: Michelle's diary
Hi Ozzie,
Thanks for putting in a Diary Request. You're approved, and you've started your diary (here) so all is good there. Now it is up to you and your resolve !! Re advice, there is heaps around - the various forums have all kinds of good information. And I'd spent some time drawing on the "really good posts I found" and collating them all in one place - so you might want to start there - here's the link:- https://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9170 Also, you might want to read more of the Discussion Forum (where you found the "Back on the Bus" topic). You'll see all sorts of great topics in there too. Sit down with your water and enjoy reading "Physical Changes apart from Weight Loss", or the "Gems" thread, or "Share your tips to help others"...... Lots to read and enjoy. Or check out the diaries of many who have succeeded to learn from their experiences. Koh

Just a big happy hushpuppy I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed... And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !! |
