Default Dark Chocolate Mousse

Hi all

I am after a maintenance recipe for a dark chocolate mousse. My consultant at my clinic suggested that if I need to eat a dessert, try to make it a high protein-low sugar one. She suggested either a baked cheescake with lots of cheese, or a dark chocolate mousse. I love mousse, and dark chocolate, so does anyone know how to make it at home?

Cheers
Kim

I haven't tried it yet (die to a lack of edible tofu in the UK) - however, I've heard from vegan friends that you can substitute silken tofu for the cream and yoghurt - meant to taste really good, as the chocolate overpowers the taste of the tofu

This is my favorite recipe for chocolate mousse:

1 pkt morinu silken firm tofu
1 tablespoon pure organic cocoa powder
50ml coconut oil
1/4 tspn stevia powder

Blend in blender and store in fridge. Delicious and so healthy and so low carb.

Just wanted to alert everyone to the Weight Watcher's products. Check carefully the carb content before you buy. They may be low in fat and sugar but are often very high in carbs. For instance their low fat ice cream is higher in carbs than Sara Lee gourmet ice cream.

Be very careful about the carbs level.

Hi here is Stephane i own and work for the belgian Chocolate Mousse Company as well as my wife laurence. We have been making mousse since april 1997.thank you for your kind comments abouve re our mousse.over the past few year we have always gone a step further to improve it.we used orgabic sugar at one stage we use free range eggs and the best ingredient in a climate where everyone is going cheap and cheaper we go the opposite ways always trying to improve the quality of our product.Did you know our mousse is folded all by hand? And because its all fresh you can freeze it and either eat it frozen or thaw it and it comes back exactly as before??Thanks you for your nice comment its because of customers like you that we stay in business.thnk you very Much
Steff
