Good morning gang,

What a beauiful day, i'm about to go for a walk along the beach and suck it all in.

Can you tell me what are the two best things that have happened to you since you joined Cohen's?

I love it when people tell me about the wonderful things they are doing.

Hi Skinny B,

I've just checked, and yeah, your Diary request is IN !! So just hold tight - Asy will get to it when she can.

Just keep an eye on the "Personal Diaries" section - you'll see it pop up, then just "Reply" to it in the usual way,

Koh

Hi Skinny,

Am currently at the beach myself - in my 'office' - cafe looking over Coogee beach.

The two best things that have happened since I have been on Cohens???? Wow - that's a tough one - there have been so many........

Generally the feeling of my self confidence soaring so that I now feel confident to go out, meet people, enjoy little romantic interludes, wear trendy clothes, express myself and generally be 'out there.'

(how's that for getting about 6 in one!)

I love the feeling of freedom and agility in my body as I am able to move around and do so many things which were previously a bit of a stretch or impossible.

I went bushwalking the other day and got into a space by a pool which previously I would not have physically been able to.

I guess now I am feeling reengaged with life in a very physical tangible way.

I could write lots more as many great things have happened.

Blessings
Shanara

Thank you Kohinoor, as you can see, I'm a little excited about it all.

Shanara, WOW WOW...what can I say...truely....I felt every word you spoke, I can't wait to have that feeling. Self belief, feeling foxy and no issues surrounding cloths, bloody cloths. You are truly an inspiration, thank you so much for sharing with me, I really appreciate that you did.

"Reengaged with life" - you hit the nail on the head, Thank you.

And it sounds like we have a couple of things in common, Beach & Coffee, very important for ones mental health. Couldn't live with out them.
Maybe I could but I wouldn't want to try.

Especially living by the Cohen's lifestyle, I find a walk down to the local cafe and ordering a long black and enjoying it as I read the paper is just such a treat.

I enjoy bush walking too, note to self, also very good for the soul.

My favorite saying is, be nice to yourself because nobody else has the power to make you happy!

I wonder who else will share their feelings with us?

Hi Skinny

The two best things for me are physical (all the weight-related health problems like high blood pressure, palpitations and water retention have cleared up and I am only in the third month of the programme) and psychological (I walk confidently now, because I know I look better and my clothes are normal size, instead of plus size. Also I feel SO in control. The discipline I am showing now is something I never knew I had.).

You're going to do great

Hi Firefox,
Very true regarding health related issues, I've noticed the plain in my lower back isn't as bad, getting better as I go along and also my skin is soooo much better and apart from all that, I generally feel so much better. Yheap, my confidence is good and is just getting better also as I go along. Had a set back last week, but building a bridge and walking over it...all comes back to that discipline topic.

Good to hear how wonderful you are feeling...Thanks, I love it when people share special things with me.
Have you got much further to go until refeed?

Thanks Steph, I really appreciate your support. Did you read my post on Chant2009 thread....? After reading her post I just couldn't help but poor my heart out. I feel a bit bad cause I kind of hijacked her thread.
I am so fired up to finish this program pre Christmas, I can't tell you. I feel really good about my know found attitude.
I would love to ride this bus trip with you Steph and anyone else that wants to jump onto the 'Happy Bus' with us. I'm leaving the baggage at the bus stop and heading to the "Oh what a feeling!", destination.

Thanks for your kind words,

Thumbs up Skinny Bineenie's diary

I would just like to give everyone a big thank you for helping me get going again...I have really appreciated the support I have received from you all and the information regarding "Have you fallen off the Bus" has really assisted in my recovery. So thank you.

I wrote this on Chant2009 thread but thought I would share it with you all...this is where I have been the last couple off years. Believe me for the most of it, it felt like hell on earth. But NOW, I believe I have it sorted thanks to you guys.

I did the program 3 years ago, I did finish refeed and size 8 feels realllllllll goodddddddddd! Went from size 14 to size 8, have never been size 8 before...god it was good.
Anyway weight came back over a 12 month period and I had the worst summer after that, so I cracked it big time the following April and ordered another program, was feeling really good got to refeed....don't know what happened but never even started refeed, what a fool.
Well I have to tell you I blew up to a size I have never ever been 73kgs-size16, mind you I am only 5'2". Made me think there was not a thing wrong with my 64kgs I was before ever starting Cohens.

Anyway here I am again for a third time, just had a couple of bad months but I just took two weeks leave to get my head right, I've lost 6.2kgs so far and bugger me I found you guys and I am sooooo focused and can't wait to have that summer (Good) feeling. I should be completed by Christmas this year and I vow never ever to deviate or ever return to bad eating, emotional eating habits ever again.

I haven't got a diary yet and I just couldn't keep it in any longer.

So how are you all, I'm feeling a little better now.

The most important thing i have learn't from here is one meal at a time and be kind to yourself.

THANK YOU!

Seems like the diary fairy has been by now and, guess what? You now have one !!

Thanks for your comment to me, Skinny (you know the one) - I really do appreciate you taking the time. Now, you just go on and DO this - you know it's what you want, and now, you have US in your corner (how can you fail? )

Rock on, girl,

Hi SB,

wow, 3 times on Cohen... I'm so afraid that I would lapse into my old ways as I proceed into refeed tomorrow. Certainly hope that I only have to go through this programme once and learn the lessons well. I don't know if I can have your kind of commitment to do it thrice over. Certainly hope it'll be the last for you. All the BEST gal.

I'm blushing....and just for one I don't really know what to say.

Except, I'm loven this feeling and the sense of team and Koh and all the support. Totally overwhelming ... thank you.

Was back at work today and it went really well, left on time 4pm and the PA said to me as I left, thank for calling in. I said, thanks...see ya. I refuse to stress out anymore for people who really don't give a rats if i'm there for 8 hours or 12 hours.
I'm taking time for me now. No more stress for this little black duck...I'm learning to say ...NO! and Hey buddy, talk to the hand.

hahhahahahaaaaaaaaa

Thanks again gang....got to go I'm in need of food.
