Default Second Time Round..

Hi Everyone!!

This is my second time on Cohens & day 1 back on the program. I am a mum of 5 & the first time I fell of the bus a week into the program due to all the goodies we have in the house for the children. This time around I am more detirmine to reach my goal. I have 13.7 kgs to loose & am hoping to do this in 12 week, Is this possible?? I work 10 hour days 5.5 days a week and would muchly appreciate any ideas & tips to organise me & get me there this time.

Mel

Hi Mel!

It is wonderful to find someone else that has come back and is currently doing the cohens for the second time! Five children- wow- I have two boys and think that is full on- not to mention working!.. Definitley have my respect! ... I find if I dont organise me first then the temptation is so much more! so basically I get up before the kids and have breaky then organise hubby n boys... at dinner I am usually really hungry so I cook my dinner and eat it bit by bit as I cook for the others, then sit down with them and have a drink- It is actually a nice 'break' while they are eating... or I will cook it and eat with them on other days... I think the biggest organisation piece of advice I can offer is to weigh all the meat and freeze it individually- so I weigh and the wrap the meat and put on it 'M2 + 100g'. etc.. basically it is less work in the long run- and that way I can buy in bulk, I also make sure that I have 'easy option veges' so cucumber- zuccini lettuce etc ready in the fridge- basic quick easy vegetables so that I can grab and run if I need to. I dont really eat anymore to enjoy my food as such I eat because I need fuel for my body-(thats the biggest thing this programs has done for me- helped change my mindset) I make sure that I have the foods that I enjoy on the program on a regular basis because then I dont feel Deprived and I used to go out to dinner with my Husband once a fortnight and 'enjoy' a meal and will again when I finish... As for loosing 13 in 12 weeks- I honestly cant say, I lost alot the first time around and very quickly- but this time it has been slower for me- I think that it is mostly because i have alot less to loose this time round- but in saying that I have lost 8kg in 6 weeks so still really good, so I hope that encourages you some...
The best piece of advice that I got was ' dont focus on the weightloss focus on changing your lifestyle' That really helped me keep going when it was really hard for me- I didnt want to just loose weight I wanted to keep it off and be healthy -that meant changing my lifestyle... That focus got me to my goal.. I think anyway... I would put a little smiley face on here but really am not good finding anything on here- so 'smiles'...

Definitely doable and it doesn't sound like you will have time to cheat if you get organized like ST says. That is the most important thing and really helps the plan go easy. also don't forget to drink your water. welcome back

Thanks ST & Carrieanne!!

I firmly believe the same, that organisation is the key! I am on day three and feeling ok at the moment other than a little hungry and a niggling headache.

Hi to everyone, I started again today 2nd time round and have completed day one. Feeling a little hungry and a little down thinking I've got 15 weeks approx. to do. At the moment it seems like a loooooong time. Once I start to lose weight though, the motivation to continue will be there, and the hunger will disappear!!! I guess it's a matter of just hanging in there, isn't it? Best wishes to all.

Hey All, this is really cool....I am now wanting to come back for the second time too...and I really want to start this tomorrow. I like the thought process ....it's about changing my life style and I will...

I will log in now frequently...and no matter what...I will do this again.....

I am at 110kgs and I swear I hate this weight....it's toooooooooooooo much and totally uncomfortable.

hi everyone, I will be starting soon for my second time too. I really want this to work this time as I didnt even try first time, I am so sick of being overweight i am so uncomfortable. I do feel a bit better to know that I am not the only one who has struggled with sticking to the program, hopefully we can all encourage each other
