I believe the list goes something like this:
Diet Pub Squash
Fanta Zero
Solo the Sub
Schweppes: Diet Dry Ginger Ale
Caffeine Free Diet Coke and Pepsi Light
Sprite Zero
Diet Lemon Lift
Diet Solo
Soda Water

Sometimes i have a normal diet coke if i get stuck and there are not other options, but make sure i limit or have no coffee (however i'd rather have the coffee!!) the reason the caffeine is limited is because it creates changes in your metabolism, and is also a diretic...

Hi every one

Another thing i have been thinking about with soft drinks is i have alway drunk them never full soft drinks, but every one talks about the sweeteners in them that cause cancer and things like that.

Do you think after cohens we should have a glass of normal drink instead of the diet ones forever for this reason.

also does any one know if we are allowed to have diet cordial. I dont think we can but just checking.

Annie

Hi guys

Cool thanks might just stick to sprite zero and solo sub, and when i get no option then have diet coke. I have had only one caffeinated drink since i started so i dont see it as a problem.

I think you're chance of cancer is higher with an unhealthy overweight lifestyle that with a few ounces of aspartame or whatever sweetener is used. However, I think those drinks should generally be avoided anyways, as the ideal would be to wean yourself of the sweet tooth and learn to enjoy a good mineral sparkling water such as Pellegrino. Leave the other drinks for special occasions.

I totally agree with Kag... I use my drinks as treats now and then even tho I am on maintenaince. There is no nutritional value in them so that's why I
consider them as a treat and not a daily requirment in my diet.

Why not try the the most natural thing in the world - water !!!!!!!!

try using the diet drinks for cooking and only a splash - let your body get used to the new you and completely re adjust your intake of all foods and drink - 30 years ago the only diet drinks were drunk by diabetics - who were rare as well - 60 years ago soft drinks were a treat maybe once a week or once a month or once a year for most people - 120 years ago water - since the beginning of time and I have forgotten when but it was just before Methuselah - so our body is really programmed for WATER. So just try and have them as treats only - and it will help your weight loss no end !!!!!!!!

have a great water filled day !!!!!

Andy
