And me? I'm a tall skinny bloke (BMI ~23) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Thank you all for the support!! I am determined to do this!!

I was reflecting on how I am when I am not on a diet and left to my own devices...I'm soooo out of control. I eat big portions and snack on crisps and sweets. I wonder how I can be so out of control and then go on a plan like Cohen's and weigh everything I eat. I hate that about me. Why can't I be disciplined after I've reached my goal? I need to figure this out because otherwise I'll just keep yo yo ing my way through life and I don't want to do that anymore.

I'm on day 10 and I am not feeling hungry!! However, I cannot watch any cooking shows as that starts to get my mind thinking about foods I am not eating at the moment.

Big Hugs to everyone!!

Gina

Hey AC- I see you've asked this question a few times

I enrolled by email, but instead of getting my program delivered I decided to pick it up- as I am impatient and didn't want to wait for the post. Haha.

As for price, I paid $750 but that was in 2009, it may have gone up. I didn't go to my clinic again, until I needed my refeed, and even then it was a pretty quick in and out, and the clinic would allow the program to be posted.

Hope that helps

Sorry for the diary hijak, Gina... I hope everything is going to plan for you!

Hi Readytoloose
You are doing great. Looks like you have settled into the program well. Hope it keeps up for you. I find I do not crave anything much while being on this program.
Sometimes the smell of food makes me think I would love some of that but I do not give in and I get over it quickly enough. I think the advantage is that I am not hungry so get over the cravings easily enough - something I have not been able to do before now.
Wendy

Gina once you get in the zone with cohens and your blood sugars are controlled I think it is easier to stay on track. I know if I deviate it becomes harder to stay on track as you put your hormones out. I think the reason this program is so strick about staying deviation free is not just because of potential weight gain but because one deviation makes it easier to have a second etc as our hormones arent so well controlled! I think many of us have described feeling out of control when not on the program, but good on your for sticking to the straight and narrow!!

Hello Everyone!!

Haven't been on the forum in awhile but I just thought I'd pop in as today was my one month weigh in!! I've lost 9 kilos and 31cm with the most being 10cm from my waist!! I am happy with the results, however, the rest of my life has been a bit crazy and I'm surprised that I was able to stay on the plan at all.

My boss, and a very good friend passed away last week. She was just diagnosed with cancer on 1 January 2011 and now she's gone. She was also my best friends mother and for weeks we had been visiting her in hospital and after she passed away we have been organising her funeral. I just lost my own mother in July so this brought up so many emotions. It's been so hard but I am determined to stick to this plan.

I deviated though but not by eating foods that weren't on Cohen's. I actually haven't eaten all of my allowances as I have been running around so much and just feeling so drained. I also have eaten later and later and I know that isn't good and I've skipped a lunch and dinner here and there and I know that's not good either. All I can say is, I have done my very best.

Positive vibes for better times ahead!! Much hugs and love all of you...it's so nice to know that we are all in this together.

Gina

Hey Gina...

((((HUGS)))) for you.

So sorry for your loss...

Don't beat yourself up about the timing issues etc... Sometimes things get out of whack, especially in trying times.

Keep your chin up and take care of yourself.
