Default 1 week and lost 4 kgs, still with veggie issues

Hi! I'm one week into the program today and so far lost 4 kilos. my start weight was 81 kgs and now 77 kgs. However, I'm really having a hard time with all the veggies. Sad to say though that I have deviated once during a company event. i sticked to the salad without dressing, however there was no available protein except tenderloin tips in mushroom sauce, so I ate around 5 pieces. I'm not a veggie eater and really struggling but the recipes posted in the forum helps a lot!

Awesome loss already! That's fantastic!

I'm not a huge veggie eater either and I'm struggling a bit, but I've forced myself to try new veggies and there's a few now that I'm really loving that I didn't know I liked before hand!

Try doing them in different ways too, like for lunch I have the mozerella cheese on crackers with cucumber and onion - who knew that I liked that?! But I LOVE it!

Wow. Excellent results!!! Well done!

I had to laugh, because I'm trying to get used to how 'little vegetables' are allowed on the programme.

I guess the amount is in the eye of the beholder

thanks Babybear, I tried the pizza on crackers and I love it!!!

Berry, I hope I can develop my veggie appetite. I noticed that I like the veggies better when it's fully cooked and I have less tolerance for salads. So I'm cooking the veggies along with my protein, I like bokchoy and zucchini. I'm still experimenting.

Bad news though, the other day, I had a dizzy spell so bad that I almost fainted. I experienced dimming vision, weakness and my calf muscles were sore as if I was about to have cramps. I was also shaking bad, so I ate a full meal. 1/2 cup of rice with fried milkfish. Although, I now received the response from the clinic, they advised me to take another dose of multivitamin and increased my cracker allowance. so I'm gonna try again.

Are you taking Magnesium along with your multi vitamin and fish oil?

I know Magnesium helps with cramps, not sure about dizzy spells - I had some a week ago - had the day off work, had a really bad earache to go with it though, was much better the next day having spent most of the day in bed.

Good luck!

Oh that doesn't sound too fun, Anarvs!

Hope the extra multi works!

Also you might flushing out some minerals without enough salt. You can try using some Celtic salt or whatever it is. haha. I use Himalayan salt... And I don't get dizzy spells. I used to get fuzzy vision, dizziness and yucky nausea.
