Default I'm New To The Forum

G'day everyone

I've been a guest on these forums for many weeks now and decided to become a member today. Like many of you, I'm travelling the same path after numerous years of dieting no results rah rah rah... you all know the drill. I started Cohen's on 29 May 2007 and I'm so suprised on how much I have lost in the short space of time. This is the first eating lifestyle program that's actually worked for me. I had a moment today where I found myself questioning myself on what I would have if I wanted to deviate. For the first time I couldn't think of anything. In all honesty, the first thing that popped into my head was my 105g of steak with veg. Sometimes my mind thinks I feel like Maccas or chocolate, but my body is craving for vegetables... It's kind of hard to explain... Anyway, feeling great and just glad to be a part of this forum.

Welcome, great loss thus far. Amazing that our bodies and minds take awhile to get into sync.

Hi Cohenite,

Great to see another May starter. Mine was the 26th and have a similar amount of weight to loose so we'll be watching and talking together for a couple of months.

Keep up the good work.

Melissa

Cohenite

Welcome, I too had the same amount of weight to loose as you - in 13/14 weeks I have lost 22Kgs - I am very pleased with this & I am sure you will be there as quickly as me (I am following the program as best I can) The end seemed so far away but now that I am almost half way there I am pleased that now it is just over the 33kgs for me to lose (that is better than 55kgs!!)

Enjoy the journey

GumNut

Welcome and its great to see yet another person doing something about there weight. Ive yet again started the program i could have well and truely finished it if I could have controlled myself to not take a bit of the cake thats what started my deviation 2 years ago. My sister and I started the program on the 20th of august 2005 and well as you can see one deviate later and its nearly 2 years later. My sister is now doind success shakes diet and is doing well but she still deviates. Ive decided to really take control this time and no matter what im guna finish. i even crossed my name of the big breakfast we were going to have at work I thought to myself one deviate whats the harm ive done it before.I said no not this time im not going to deviate coz you know what happens another two years pass and I am still 26kgs to heavy. Hope you keep sticking to the plan learn by my mistake sone deviate can cost you 2 years.
