Re: Travelling
Hi Bronnie. When I travel I take an omlette and whilst I eat it cold you eat an egg sandwich cold so I figure whats the difference, Also your yogurt with fruit is your great staple for breakfast and you can eat at your choice of time. Also I always have some tuna available - best to have that pre weighed when you are in transit and my salad portion in another container. I have done a lot of travel through my program and it is only when I wasnt organised that I had any major glitches. In fact that was the one thing I spoke about with the clinic as a challenge for me.. Wont happen again where I am not pre prepared. Cheers Narelle

Re: Travelling
Hi Bronnie, I did a roadtrip over Chrissie break...nothing to keep food cold. I found that pre-cooked steak with salad was easy enough and filling. And less likely to get food poisoning etc than with chicken!
Otherwise maybe some cold tuna and cauliflower patties? Might stink out the plane though hehehe

Re: Travelling
How long is your flight?
I figure that yoghurt is the easiest and if there is convenient store in the airport, you can probably get them easily. If I am prepared to bring along salads with me, I will take hardboiled egg or a can of tune as protein.

Re: Travelling
HI Bronwyn
I travelled through out the time I did Cohens and mostly managed to buy food as I went and not do too badly. However having said that I would say the place where it is virtually impossible to get cohen friendly foods is on planes and and in airports. Yes they seel yoghurt, but its not usually the type you want. I would definitely say take your own food if you want to stay true to the program or you will regret it. All of the above choices sound good Good luck Louise |
