Default 100% Cohens Challenge Fri 6/2 - Thur 19/2

Good afternoon, mango challengers! Time to start the next round!

This is a bit of a sad one for me, because for the first time in 6 months my name will not be on the list. Kinda hard to deviate when there are no rules to deviate from, after all, and maintenance begins on Wednesday for me. I claimed my 13th mango today - either a really appropriate number or kinda scary!
It's funny, when I started out on the journey six months ago, I was convinced that I would not be able to live without the sugar and the junk. The mango challenge helped me stay on the straight and narrow, and I discovered that YES it IS possible to do this without deviating. It IS possible to beat the cravings and live happily without the sugar haze! As Obama keeps saying: Yes we can!

Congratulations to all of you who claimed your mangoes this fortnight, better luck this round to those who didn't and welcome to the new faces on the challenge! Always good to see new faces! Let's see those mangoes dance!

The challengers this round are:

Jimbo
Fiona.sutton
Maria1969yellow
Hodgje
Ruby
Gorgeous One
Daffodil
Shanara
Tiina121
Joroma
Yeti
NBS
Forme
Shanara
RosemaryFNQ
Missusb
Fifty2drop
CC75
Polly

If I have forgotten anyone, please let me know and I will update the list asap!

Mango hugs!

NBS, Forme and Rosemary, of course it's not too late! It's only Saturday, and you've been DF! You're on the list now, happy to have you all on board!

Jeannie, don't worry about the post in the rules. There's no rule against that! What matters is that you're in the right place now and that you will be d-free and get lots of dancing mangoes!

Wow I cannot believe I am claiming my 5th Mango.

Have a great fortnight everyone. On this programme amazing things happen and every day is so exciting with all the new changes in our physiques but also I have found being DF means I have more time to work out the emotional issues to why dieting had taken over my life. Well I always new that their were reasons and yet somehow I had forgotten about me! Not any more peoples. We are doing something about it.

Thanks Mette also for your nice post to welcome us into our next fortnight. Hey you have set a wonderful example for all of us.

Chelle and Sam, you're on the list! Very happy to have you on board! Big list of participants this time around, I love it!! The mangoes will rule the world! *Cue evil laugh*

Maria, you are so very right. Being deviation free and not having to contest with the cravings and detox processes they bring really gives you the opportunity to deal with some of the issues behind why you eat. It's wonderful that you take full advantage of that! Keep up the great work!

hi mette - i'm meant to be on the list as well. i'm at the end of day 24 of my program and haven't deviated. hmm. maybe i need to add half a mango because i'll be out of sync. just kidding. hmm maybe i should get two when i get to the 19th as i'll have been on cohens for 5 weeks by then (2 x fortnights = 2 mangoes?)

Hi everyone. Nothing like a personal challange to help keep us all on track. I am continually inspired by all the people and their journeys. It's fantastic.
I am day 13 and going strong.
Thanks for fixing up my blunder Mette, i am slowly learning the ropes. The kids think it's amazing that i am blogging!!!
Looking forward to my first mango!
Jeannie

CC, you only get mangoes for the fortnights where you have been on the list. Yes, we're an exclusive club If you got mangoes for all the time you had been d-free, I should add another mango myself. I've added you to the list now.

PS sorry to see you out of this round Mette - But you will always be the mango queen to us...

this will also be my last fortnight as i go overseas in 2.5 weeks - will be suspending the program for 10 weeks as i will have to eat out and won't have access to a kitchen for most of the time. Will be trying to be Cohens in style but there will be some deviations - Mette can you please adjudicate - can i save my mangos till i get back and restart Cohens or do i sacrifice them and have to re-earn them?

cheers
Polly.

You're on the list Polly!

Oh how I hate to do this, but rules are rules. And the rules do say that if you deviate once, you're out for the fortnight, and if you deviate again, you lose the lot. And I'm afraid that suspending the program for 10 weeks is a pretty big deviation, pretty lady. Trust me, I understand the reasoning behind suspending it, but much as I hate to be the mean one, I have to uphold the rules of the challenge. I'm sorry, love.
