Thanks for that, I'll try it out. Happy with Yoplait natural yogurt creamy etc, but it's best to try them all. Hope they have them here in WA too.

for those who love thick yoghurt, try Yoghurt Stop 98% fat free natural yoghurt. Got it from IGA Canning Bridge. this is in Perth. There is a shop location printed on the tub somewhere in Vic Park. It tastes almost like cream cheese!!! yummy!!
Also, try Moo's brand... thicker, but higher in fat i think. still says 98% fat free though...
lemme know what u think fellow yoghurt lovers.. =)

Morning All,

I tried The Margaret River Dairy Company 99.7% Fat Free Natural yoghurt this morning and it was absolutely delightful.

Its not nearly as tart as the other natural yoghurts, its thick and creamy. I checked it out throughly and it is 100% Natural has no preservatives - is made with skim milk.

Unsure if it is available anywhere else within Australia though - but at least it is here in WA.

Thanks for you information on the natural yoghurt. I am having a lot off trouble finding a natural yoghurt from woolworths or coles that are in the 175grms allowance.

I know you can buy in in bigger tubs, but the small ones are very easy to use.

Thanks once again for your help.

hey just a thought as i hate yoghurt and dont have any in the fridge at the moment to try but has anyone tried to freeze their yoghurt and eat it like an iceblock on a stick. i hate yoghurt especially the plain natural stuff tastes like eating vomit but maybe some one might like to try it and see if it works that way it gets the eating it with a spoon out of the way in other words gets it over and done with quicker. jacin

Jacin you make me laugh
Those that eat yoghurt obviously LIKE it.
So they dont have to shovel it in to get rid of it quicker !!!

Hi Jacin

I blitz mine with mango until its nice and creamy, then freeze it overnight for breakfast.

Yummy

Im sure you could add sweetner if you wanted it a little sweeter.

Re the 175gm tubs I think you'll need to check that it doesn't include the weight of the container. there have been a few caught out with this in the past. the larger tubs are far more economical and you can always dish into small tupperware or similar containers to transport if need be.

Try adding some fanta zero or fruit from your allowance to the yoghurt. Prior to Cohens there was no way I would eat natural yoghurt and ate eggs daily for weeks and weeks until I got sick of them. gave the yoghurt a go with fanta zero and wow, I really enjoyed it. Now I have it everyday with fruit and muesli (post refeed) and I really look forward to it.

I bought a Jaalna biodynamics fatfree with a red lid today - then I read this and wondered if it is OK. It has 0.1g fat per 100g and is a really thick set yoghurt with 3 active cultures.

Did you see any difference between yogurt and egg breakfast?
I am on egg now, but I dont like it ... Consultant told me to avoid yogurt if I am hungry, because I was...but at the same time - yogurt was my FAVORITE meal...I would go to bed early just to be able to get up and have my apple and yogurt breakfast....

So, any less weightloss with yogurt?

(please say no please say no please say no please say no )
