Curry Powder
BUT! my program also says (on the same page, ironically) that anything with added starches is NOT allowed. And each of the various tins of curry powder I own lists ingredients like rice flour, maize flour etc. in small amounts. So, what to do? Is there a curry powder out there that is OK? Or is curry powder the 'exception' when it comes to the 'no starches' rule? |

Re: Curry Powder
Hi Mamak
Yes, there is a recommended curry powder - Clive of India Curry Powder, comes in a yellow round tin in spices section of the supermarket. I use it lunch and dinner almost every day (except not with prawns!) and i love it. I also noticed at a really good restaurant one day that had an open plan kitchen/serving area that they had a large catering tin so its well used and great flavour! Also, thank you so much on Monday you suggested to me that my cheese & bisc for breakfast and no veg may have caused no BM's.I then realised i hadnt had any fruit all weekend, duh! where did i THINK i'd get my fibre from?? So thanks to yr wisdom i have had my fruit ALL week and had veggies with my cheese and bisc this a.m.! Pandora |
