Default FAQ - We need you!!

HI everyone....

Can I have 2 mins of your time???..

Andy and I are putting together a FAQ for people who are new to cohens....

Could I get you to pm me or Andy 46 with any questions that you feel would be good to add in... Think back to when you started or things that came up along the way...You don't need to give us the answers!! just the questions!

The reason I want you to pm us is so that we can get an idea of the most popular questions...without someone reading the thread and not posting because their question is already there..

Also don't forget to include your embarrassing or delicate questions as well... Trust me if you've got that question...one of us had had that question... We will hold all messages in the strictest confidence... Again, if you guys have the questions...someone else out there has got them too...

PM = Personal message.

Look on the left hand side, under people names, you see a ittle blue "IM" button. Click that and you can send private messages to individuals.

Nah...it's an abbreviation

that dot is short for:

"I need to find a way to move this to the top of the board again and make it into a sticky, oh look this dot seems to do the trick!"

Hi, I have a question

I received my pack last night and it says that I can have up to 5 crispbreads a day. Am I right by thinking that 4 little ones that are all joined together to make the 1 big crispbread equals 2 on the plan?? Therefore you can have 2 and a half of those? Do people usually eat this with their meals? Or as snacks? Or either? Pleeeaassse Help. I'm going to start on the w/e, so would love to get an answer.

What brand are we talking about.

Salada "Man Size" would be considered 2 crispbreads (normally 1 serving)

Vita Weet (my favorites), 1 crisbread = 1 Vita Weet.

"four little ones joined together" is usually Salada.

So yea, one of those is two serves. Or, two little squares is one serve.

Thanks heaps. I never buy crispbread, so this will be a whole new venture for me. I think I'll try the Vita Weet like Baloo at first and see how I go.

My list say 2 cracker = 15g so if you think about it one must be 7.5g then times 5 = 37.5g crackers per day

One Ryevita and one rice cake is each are worth two crispbreads, even though they don't weigh 15 gms. I checked that with my consultant. She said it's because of the nutritional value.

Question crispbreads

Hi I am new ..just started this weekend..I am going back to the question that Peta posted about the crispbreads, can they be eaten anytime or just with your meals?

Welcome to Cohen's, nannaone, and to the forum. Start a diary so we can all help you along.

Crispbreads can be eaten any time. However there are a couple of restrictions. No more than two at a time, about 15 gms and one Ryevita or rice cake equals two of the others despite the weight. At least 2 1/2 hours between eating them. Thus, if you have crispbreads with a meal, wait at least 2 1/2 hours before eating more. If you want some with the next meal as well, they must be mid way if you are eating every five hours.
