Default Am I ready for refeed

Hi everyone would love some advice from those that have done or are on refeed!
As of last week (week 10) I had 3.4kg to go, till I reached the top end of my cohens goal - 63kg.
For the last 5 days or so I have had headaches (all day) and I'm finding I'm getting hungrier in between meals. Usualy I would save my snacks and have them with my meals but I'm finding now I need to space them out over the day, throughout this program I have felt fantastic but I'm just not feeling 100% anymore!
The hunger is not so bad it's the headache's that I'm sick of.
Could this be a sign that I'm ready for refeed, nothing else in my life has changed, so I'm wondering should I hang in there another 9 days till my 12 week blood test or just order my program now?
Did anyone else get headaches towards the end?

Hi there

I am feeling just like you and wondering the same thing! I contacted my consultant and she said I could order my refeed in two weeks, whatever my weight. My next blood test is scheduled for then. Maybe chat to your consultant about how you're feeling-I have had a better day today by just feeling like I have talked about it! Good luck.

Hi Mum 2 4,

Whatever happens, DO be in touch with your clinic !! Let them know of this, they have likely faced this before, and have help at hand (or can point you in other directions if required).

You are fast approaching the "pointy end" of your journey - so you need your clinic now more than ever,

Koh

Mum 2 4,

Have you tried the "meal mix-up" yet? Many find that eating the larger meals earlier help you get through the day better, so they go something like :-
breakfast - meal 2 or 3
lunch - meal 3 or 2
dinner - meal 1

I know Asy often recommends this, particularly when approaching refeed. And it is OK to do this. You need one of each meal # every day - the order is not an issue, and leaving Meal 1 (the smallest) till dinner time has your body easily processing that last meal quickly, leaving lots of sleep time for the HGH to do its job

Thanks everyone for your advice I'm going to give the clinic a call this afternoon and see what they think I'm only a week off my 12 week blood test so I think I can hang in till then.
I actually feel better today, no headache yet! maybe it's the chromium I started taking this morning or maybe I'm still on a high after doing a bit of shopping yesterday and realising I am actually a size 10 and I'm not even squeezing into it!! god thats a good feeling.............
I will let you all know what the clinic says

Smile Re: Am I ready for refeed

I had the same feeling for the past 2 weeks. I am hungry, tired, headaches, moody, etc. I also started deviating. I had an extra blood sample drawn at 8 weeks and my refeed ordered, getting it on Friday. I know some (most??) people want to get down to the lower end of their weight range, but I don't want to. I also comfortably fit into a size 10 and I am 2 kg above the upper end of my weight range. Everybody compliments me on how good I look, etc. That extra few kg will make a difference on the scale, but it won't make me a different or happier person. I prefer to refeed and then maintain. Considering my age, how I look and the fact that I had a child makes me realise this is enough. I'm happy with what I achieved. A little bit of flab or fat is still ok, we are not skinny supermodels. I need that to help me through winter. I also know my face becomes too sunken in when I'm too thin.

Hi Alibaba,
Thanks for your input on this I appreciate it. I'm still not 100% sure what I am going to do. I'm going to have my 12 week blood test done on Monday (a couple of days earlier) then hopefully by Wednesday when I have my appointment it will be there for me to go over.
I don't think I am going to start straight away with it, but it will be good to have it there ready to go for when I do decide enough is enough.
Good luck with you refeeding
