Hi

for the first couple of days drink plenty of water and try and rest a bit cause like with most of us, the initial detox is rough.. Try not to deviate as a single deviation could set you back a week or two.. It makes it easier to avoid any temptation.. and try and space your meals and your snacks.. For example, I usually have breakfast at bout 7:30-8, crispbread at 10am, lunch at 1:30pm with crispbread, fruit at about 3:30pm, dinner at about 7pm with crispbread and a piece of fruit for dessert. Because Im a snacker this works well for me..

Good luck with the journey.. Have fun watching those KG's shed and the clothes sizes drop..

Good luck!!! and 100% sure you do refeed properly! Looking forward to watching your journey.

And the advice form Cobie Lee is perfect. When I started I took a few days off work as I need to e 100% focussed and allow myself to go through the detox in a positive way!

Welcome aboard Mel, I'm on Day 3 too and so far it's great.

My advice is Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance - so suss out the Recipe section on the forum and decide on a couple of them that you can make in advance/freeze so that when you get home from work (or just a busy day) you don't fall off program.

Oh yeah, and like everyone else, water water water ...

Hello Mel! Well fancy meeting you girls here, my advice is keep it simple if you try and make it to complex in the beginning it consumes your life, here is a typical day for me:
Breakfast
Egg + Tomato + Cucumber

Snack
1 serve crispbread + Nectarine

Lunch
Chicken Salad

Snack
3 squares Salada + 1/2 serve mango

Dinner
Chicken + cabbage + mushrooms + garlic + chilli

Snack
3 Salada squares + 1/2 serve mango

Very simple and keeps me going, I drink 2 litres of water and for something diffrent add in some sparkling mineral water and peppermint tea!

Good luck!

Cant wait to see you all and all the progress in March!

xxx

Hi Mely,
Good luck with the programme. All I can say to you is what was said before - freeze your portions (when possible) beforehand...makes like easier and you avoid eating "more" I have deviated a couple of times - I knew it would happen - big events and it did take a few days to take it off - so, not worth it in the end. Drink your water and even though you are not supposed to, I weight myself each day because it inspires me to keep going and the results are fasinating.

Exciting times ahead Mely! I was like you 9 weeks ago and now with 8 weeks gone so has 14.3kgs. It feels fantastic. This forum is great - sometimes you wish you are further along the journey, I know I did, but after a few weeks, it is you that is making progress and x weeks down. You realise that there is so much to learn about this lifestyle change to make it successful and bad habits do take time to break. All the best.
