Shoe Size

Just out of interest I have found that I have gone from a size 9 1/2 to 8 Australian in show size since losing my weight. I assume its a fat and fluid loss. My hat size has also come back one size as well - and this also indicates to me that this is the most all over body loss that I have ever experienced - usually I loose from a particular area more so than others and i have never lost from feet - even when doing a lot of walking - and I can not remember when I went up a size in shoes since I was about 15 and Mum dragged me off to get new school shoes (the Black school boy Batavia ones I think - very flash and they left animal prints in the sand).

I always wanted new RM's but they were not school shoes so were not allowed at boarding school back in my day.

What about any one else - or are there no shoe buyers amongst you ..............as if !!!!!!!!!

When I started my consultant told me my shoe size would shrink. I looked at her like she was from planet loony, and though "yeah, right, never in a pink fit".

Guess what? My shoe size has gone down - not as dramatically as yours, I no longer need a wide fitting shoe. My shoe size is now 9.5 down from 10 or 10.5 when I started. (Though I can get into size 8.5 if they are Australian made, not Chinese.) Yep, still have a firm grip on Australia.

Your avatar looks pretty damn fine now, BTW. Your wife must be beside herself with excitement.

My foot's gone from a size 13W to between 11 and 12. (My grip on Oz is better than yours meagain! hehe).

I can wear stilettos again, when my back allows it...

Also, my work boots are much looser, very comfy now!

Yep.. my feet have shrunk a size too.. pretty weird but awesome .. from a 10 to a 9

Me too - I was a size 9 now down to 8's

In regards to the whole shoe size shrinkage thingy.. are all those who's feet have shrunk, are you changing your goal weight?

I gave my original shoe size ( to the clinic when I started as I knew I was really a size 8 beneath my size 9 fat feet so my goal is the same. Had I given them size 9 it would make 1 kilo difference

I will change my ticker now which - its takes my from 73 - 76 back to 71 - 74

But I am happy and don't mind - rather do it than not - whats another week or so in the big picture anyway with the benifits that come with the change in lifestyle - and the new life as a "happy with my weight - person" Life is good.

So glad that its not just me with a shorter - thinner foot !!!!!!!

It just has to be the greatest plan - it really is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My shoe size has went down one. But I gave Cohen the size it was when I was thinner so goal weight wouldn't change. I can wear a 6.5 wide but mostly wear a 7 US sizing. I was a 8 to 8.5
