Why find reasons to stress yourself?
Actually, You won't find it immensely helpful. What you will find is that you will be just giving yourself an excuse to stress yourself which may well slow your weight loss down. Stress, lack of sleep, deviations, not enough water all will affect your rate of loss. If you see somebody had lost X kg during Y period of time and you don't they you start worrying "what have or am I doing wrong?" The answer is usually: Absolutely nothing. Everybody is different, that's why each persons diet is different. You cannot measure yourself against anybody else. We all lose it differently. Could you imagine AJ or I, who lost at a rate of only 900g~1.1kg/week over the course of the program comparing ourselves to a youngster of 35 who is possibly capable of losing up to 1.5~1.7kg week? My daily weight loss chart
I've put this in for all of you who are feeling despondent about no loss for a couple of days, or even a 200 gm rise. I've had to move it out of the original post. The blue line is a projection at a steady loss, the pink line shows my daily losses, gains and plateaus. Please note the ups and downs on my chart, but note also that it's continuing down at a steady rate despite these.
AJ

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time. My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight. A slow week for me this week. 600g and 2.5cm. Must be the cold weather slowing things down! Check out my original post for all my results.

I get weighed fortnightly is that normal?
Hey all tomorrow will be two weeks that ive been on the program and i get weighed at cohens tomorrow.. they dont weigh me weekly which is a bummer and my scales and there scales are three kilos different? mine say 3 kgs exactly less than theres.. so what im wondering is, is that normal or should i ask to be weighed weekly.. its a bummer waiting for two weeks to be weighed.. i still weigh on mine every day and add on three kilos but i would like to be weighed weekly...

I've always weighed daily, and weighed myself, Martee. This was my consultant's suggestion at the beginning, and one that I was very happy to go along with. I take my weights and measurements along to my meeting with her and she keys them in.
However, to answer your question, I think you can ask to be weighed weekly. Tell them that you would be more comfortable doing it that way. My clinic is happy to fit in with whatever I want, although monthly appointments have been enough for me. AJ

You can always download my xl spreadsheet and modify it for your own usage. Just click on My Weightloss Chart in my signature and just above the chart on the right side of the Weekly Tab the last button will download you an xls file that is the basis for my more elaborate one. Feel free to use it, change it, or whatever. I don't think you will be able to paste in your posts however. Although you could do a screenshot of the page and post that I suppose.

800g and 1.5 cm gone this week. A bit of a slow one but that's OK, it's all going in the right direction.
