Tinned Red Salmon for new protein?
I have done a quick forum search, but haven't turned up an answer, and I have also asked my consultant but wanted to confirm her answer. Anyway, my question was "Is tinned salmon ok for a new protein in refeed, or does it have to be raw weight measured?" She came back and said "Salmon is fine as a new protein". Which didn't completely answer my question, and left a little doubt in my mind. It is just that I have it handy in the cupboard from pre-Cohen days. I am scheduled to see her before I hit the new protein stage of my refeed, so I can ask then also. Cheers M |

Re: Tinned Red Salmon for new protein?
I would ask......but they do allow tinned tuna as per original plan......so maybe not much of an issue........sounds good though, I loved tinned red salmon.....not keen on the pink stuff.......

Re: Tinned Red Salmon for new protein?
I am thinking that it is like tuna and that you can measure it once drained from the can. I am sure I did when I went through refeed last time without any adverse affects.

Re: Tinned Red Salmon for new protein?
Not to worry Wendy, I splashed out and bought a small (but expensive) salmon fillet - can not wait to nom it up at some stage! Might be a fan of tinned salmon salads come maintenance though!
