weight gain on refeed
I am on day 2 of refeed today and I gained about 400g from yesterday. My refeed plan ibtorduced more old protein, old veggie, 1 good fruit and a slice of bread for day one. From reading the refeed diaries it seems that almost everyone gas experienced a loss after a first day. I on the other hand have gained 400g. Is this not a good sign? Has anyone experienced weight creeping up after day 1? |

I was advised only to worry if I had a kg increase regardless of one day or over a few as anything else may just be a minor adjustment or fluid retention, carry on with the refeed plan and stick with it, as you may still drop down yet.

Hi BF, Neets is right, only worry if you gain a whole kg from your starting weight. I would hazard a guess and say bread (carb and water retention) might well be the culprit. I didn't get bread until aft after a few days on refeed, pretty sure I gained too after eating bread xxx, don't stress, all is well
