Default Good Fruit/Bad Fruit/Extra Protein??

Hi There

I am day 12 of refeed and loving it, cant believe how much food we get and Im still loosing weight.

I was just wondering now that I am having 2 bad fruit and 2 normal fruit, are we allowed to have 2 good fruit in place of the normal fruit? Its just I went and bought a heap of pineapple and rockmelon and it will go to waste if I wait till the end of the week. Silly me for buying so much.

Also being that we cannot mix the cheese with the protein. This would mean we would have to have the whole extra portion for dinner and it seems heaps. Has anyone had any problems with doing this or is it better to even it out through the day?

Any any would be great.

Cheer
Lynda

Hi Lynda

Congrats on reaching refeed - you're doing really well!

I just finished my refeed, and I must admit that I was never in your shoes with regards to the fruit - I struggled to get my hands on Good Fruit, as everything was out of season. The Bad Fruit however, was really easy and I felt that I had such a variety - I loved the banana's, cherries, strawberries, etc. The important thing is that you expose your body to new fruit - so I think it would be ok to eat pineapple instead of your old fruit, but to still introduce new Bad Fruit. You'll know when it's not working when you gain.

Also, you can add fish, red meat and chicken to your cheese, egg or yogurt meal, but not the other way round. I got quite creative near the end with pineapple, chicken and cheese burgers; or fish/meat, veggie and cheese bakes; I even made creamy curries with meat/chicken, veggie and yogurt.

You CAN mix your cheese with meat - but make sure that you add your new allowances with a cheese meal, i.e. meal 2, and not the other way round. I hope that makes sense?! Good luck, you're almost done!
