Needing food ideas for mixing proteins
I had a hamburger tonight, have had reaction to the bread (fingers crossed tonights is ok)....so i dont want to have cheese or bread evryday. Please help with some yummy ideas |

I spoke with my cohens rep and she suggested a mixed grill, maybe chicken and prawn stirfry, or like a pork and beef roast? I'm not too sure as I haven't got to that part but can only say props to you for getting this far! I am struggling with day 6 and the extra protein and vege still!

it gets confusing hahaha! how have you found bread etc??
im not at the new protein stage - maybe thats tomorrow and i dont like seafood!!! arghhhh!! oh well. 7 days to go. |

Nicole, it's boring but I've been adding some chicken thigh to my cheese for lunch, so it kills 2 birds with the one stone, new protein addition and also mixing. There's not much to start with so it seems like a mini mixed grill!!! Quite like chicken thigh, they're very flavoursome, so I've quite liked it!!! But then again, I like the boring things.

Nicole I was very boring. Didn't do anything fancy. I put beef in one half of the fry pan and either lamb or pork in the other. And as Collie does I also had new protein with a cheese meal

thanks i think its the not being able to plan plan like i used to that annoys me, like i buy meat and i dont want it to sit in the fridge for to long but dont know the portions etc.
i brought some pork mince, chicken thighs, and some pork to add to my next couple of dinners. |

How about stir fries.... Easy to mix meat or fish proteins together and add the extra veges!

I minced beef and lamb and made a ridiculously large "cohens spaghetti" by using a mandolin/julienne slicer to slice the zucchini into thin strips like spaghetti and making a tomato/basil sauce for the sauce with the full mayo serve in the sauce at the end to thicken it up a bit.
pretty delicious - I think we ended up eating it for almost a full month on plan.
