Hamburgers
So this is what I did with the blade: Mixed altogether: Minced beef (the blade minced my meat allowance in about 3 minutes and washed up in a jiffy) Powdered 2 quarters of Salada (Bamix mill) Soupspoon of Balsamic vinegar Shake of *garlic powder *mixed herbs *curry powder and pressed into three egg rings to rest for a while. When Mike was doing the Meat Lover's BBQ, he pan fried my hamburgers in the non-stick pan until quite dark, almost burnt (as a bbq should be) I then plated the 3 hamburgers with a tomato/mushroom/zucchini/mayonaise salsa heaped on about 20 grams of baby spinach, with the remainder of the Salada Hey, not bad if I say so myself, and I actually got to eat a 'look alike' meal with the rest of the family The Bamix blade cost $20 and I am sure will get a lot of use from me. I have a hand mincer which clamps to the edge of the table but it is old and takes a lot of fiddling about and is a devil to clean. The Bamix blade means I can mince the meat in the bowl I will be mixing in, and there was no loss of meat being left behind on blades. It washed up by wizzing it in a cup of warm water & detergent. If you have a Bamix then one of these blades may be worth considering. |

Very creative!
You are very creative with your meals! I've been reading your posts and recipe ideas and will try some of them later on.
Right now I am content to eat simple meals, but I'm sure I will get bored eventually. Keep up the great reporting of your ideas! Ms. Jiggles |
