Angry Near refeed

Hi
I will be getting my refeed programme next week Friday and I just can't stick to my programme anymore. I am deviating nearly daily, mostly by eating more crsipbreads. I am just soooooooo hungry and also I absolutely crave the saltier crispbreads. Is it my mind playing tricks because I'm near refeed, or do I really physically need more food or is it due to stress? I am starting a new business and working long hours at night getting everything up-and-running, so I am a bit more tired than usual.
I hate myself for it, but it's like it can't be helped, I need to physically not be near the kitchen at all or I eat an extra crispbread, which turns into 2, etc. Luckily it's not chocolates or "funny" stuff like that.

I have the same problem with crispbreads although I'm not near refeed yet. Not everyday, but I can never pick when its going to happen! I'm thinking of only allowing crispbreads with meals, or cutting them out all together. Perhaps those ideas could help you too? Good luck

Alibaba,

Keep going strong...don't worry. Having extra crackers and extra fruit is not a true deviation if you are waiting for your refeed program to arrive (I looked back at my old consultant messages and she/he told me that it is not a deviation to have extra fruit and crackers while already at goal and waiting for refeed to arrive and that you can still start refeed immediately after it arrives and NOT wait the 5-7 days thing).

Try not to mess up once you start refeed....I can't stress that more...that is what I did...and I paid the price with a difficult maintenance and needing to shed extra pounds now again.

Talk yourself into clarity to hold on, hold on...you are almost done. Stress management...deep breaths...lots of water. You are almost there!!

hey there
i know how hard it is when you're not sure whether to listen to your body or your brain, but since u know you're getting refeed, i think u need to stop deviating as u can count down the days!

the truth is, u arent supposed to start refeed unless you've been deviation free for 7-10 days. so technically you wouldnt even be able to start on fri now. try mixing your meal numbers around and keeping only 5 hours between meals so you dont have to wait so long in between. space your crackers out every 2.5hrs and eat half a fruit so u can space out the times u can eat.

do u really want to ruin refeed when you are SO CLOSE???? you can taste the end already!!

just try be DF for the next week while u get refeed. my brain took over when i was close and i started before i was really ready. is there no way you can get refeed earlier? maybe spk to your consultant

but really try just think of how far you have come and how hard you have worked for this, try be DF when u start, its soooo important!

xxxx good luck

Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think having some extra crackers while waiting for refeed to arrive is deviating?

Yup, I would say it is a deviation, but best to check with your clinic to be sure...

Those last few weeks are hell..but hopeful is talking sense, don't ruin things now.

Alibaba,

Try talking to your clinic, some do advise having an extra cracker or fruit while waiting .. but it depends on individual circumstance. Call them without delay.

Thank you all so much for your support and ideas. It just helps to get it off my chest. I really don't want to mess things up for myself now.
