Default mock-donuts

mock-donuts


Recipe Description
A tasty sweet - treat to have with your coffee 
Ingredients:
salada or premium biscuits
hermetes or stevia sugar
cinnamon 
Preparation Steps:
soak biscuits
bake in oven
sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon 
Level of Difficulty:
Easy 
Time Needed:
5-10 minutes depending on how many you want to do at once. 
Serves:
your allocation 
Instructions:
Make a brew of water and a couple of spoons of hermetes or stevia sugar.
Dip biscuits in the brew
Bake in the oven until slightly brown and a bit firm
Dust with more artificial sugar and cinnamon mixed together. Eat hot or cold or if you are making a big batch just re-heat in the microwave before you have your cuppa. ( My neice put me on to this one!) Almost tastes like you are having a donut with your coffee. Great treat.

An easier way to do it is to get a small spray bottle with ever-ready hermetes or stevia sugar water in it. Also have an old spice bottle with some stevia and cinnamon at the ready and whenever you get that "I need a sweet kick" feeling.......just spray and sprinkle and no rebaking!!!! Works for me!

made these but soaked biscuits in diet lemonade, these are now my afternoon savour, even hubbie loves them

I'm doing this! Start date 11th June 2013

Got close to goal then FINALLY fell pregnant after 3 IVF rounds!

Lost 17kgs in 2013
Had baby girl July 2014

Back again March 2017 to lose 20kgs
Really want to be lucky enough for IVF to work again so come at me Cohens!
