Re: Garlic Bread
I do something similar Ang and it is a favourite of mine.. I simply put the Moz cheese allowance on my crackers, sprinkle it with garlic powder and zap it in the micro for one minute, (crackers and all), then serve with a salad allowance, it is kinda like a pizza.. I will have to give your recipe a go now.. if you use garlic powder you don't have to add it as part of your vege allowance and you still get the same affect..
Thanx for sharing.. |

Re: Garlic Bread
Sounds good. I will be making this for todays lunch. The Cohens recipe book also had Salt & Vinegar chips. Has anyone tried these?

Re: Garlic Bread
I did try to make them and they were pretty ordinary
I'm not sure if the dipping in the vinegar was enough? Maybe they need to soak in it? I'm not sure

Re: Garlic Bread
hey guys, i tried that salt and vinegar "chips" as well and they just weren't great... you could hardly taste anything... but I have found a couple of good recipes over on the other forum (sorry!)
Salada (you probably want the whole thing which is equiv to 2 crsipbreads) cinnamon sweetner very lightly spary salada with cooking spray sprinkle with cinnamon and a little bit of sweetner (not too much) pop in the oven for a little bit eat warm this is a really yummy treat which i have also done with Garlic. same concept but put the garlic on first and a tiny bit of sea salt THEN spray with a tiny bit of cooking spray then put it in the oven - a very good side dish with dinner. And finally, POPCORN! Get one of the rice cakes (i think 1 is equivalent to 2 cispbreads - check your book) break it up into pieces and pop in the microwave for about 30 secs or til its warm. Then sprinkle with a tiny bit of sea salt (or not) and voila - popcorn to take to the movies but how GROSS is this - on the other forum they were using BUTTER flavoured cooking spray. SURELY that could not be good for you! nelle xoxo
