I've lost 1.2kgs for the week, I'm extatic considering the no show of the previous week.

I'm good to go, I would really like to be on refeed early September, that was my personal goal from the start, to do it in 6 months, 4 September marks the sixth month.

I thought about something last night and wanted to share. Everyone of us on this journey has reasons of our own for doing it. Mine mainly was for myself to look better & feel better and because I had sleep apnoea.

We actually don't realize how our weight has an impact on those around us until they say something. My son's school had a parents evening 3 weeks ago. I always go but this time around my son (16) was frequently asking if I'll be going...

Seemed a bit strange but he then explained that he is very proud of me and would like to show off his beautiful mother with the teachers!

I teared up a bit but was also overjoyed with happiness. That made all the hard work worth it, just there

Oh Vexy!! What a beautiful boy you have there! That even made my eyes tear up just reading it!!

My kids (2 boys) are a little younger than your son but my eldest age 5 was the straw that broke this camels back into realising the time was now to do something about my weight once and for all... my inspiration shall we say!

We were sitting at the dinner table the other day and Mr 5 looks at my husband and said "dad do you think mummy is skinny now... I think she looks so pretty" hahahaha... bless their hearts hey!!

I hope you have a fantastic night at parent night!! Make sure you wear something to show off the new you!!!

All newbies reading the threads, I'm not a very eloquent girl, thus my diary is very factual. Here are some good advice when starting the programme.

Besides the obvious rules:

1. Take your vitamins! It is not to give you energy, that comes free with the weight loss. This is for your skin. After completion, continue with vitamins that has vit A and D at the very least.
2. Get yourself a cellulite brush from day one and carry on with this routine throughout the diet.
3. Take good care of your skin, moisturise and moisturise and repeat.

Morning

I lost 1.1kgs including the 300gs of last week. I have 2.6 to go for refeed. I have to just focus very hard for the next 10 days, due date for my 6th month is 4 September.

I will update my album the week after that with all my pics during the journey. Promise no popi on them.

This really will be my last part of the marathon. I see the refeed phase as the celebration and applying all the lessons I've learned. I realized by doing this programme what triggered my weight gain. I was always baffled by my weight because I never really had a sweet tooth. To me the answer is balance, moderation and carbohydrates. I just have to smell a carb and an extra layer would be around my tube.

Hi all,

As promised, my before and after pics, will be doing a professional shoot soon and update there after. I made refeed I am on my 7th day. I didn't have to buy a top up, I was on time, very happy because the closet need the money more.

I've been out of the loop for the past 2 weeks, was on training, will catch up on everyone's diaries soon.

Hi Lee,

Refeed is an extension to what you've been doing since day one. It gradually increases your food, but most important, you will be able to know exactly how much your body can tolerate of foods such as carbs before you start to put back on the pounds. You will receive valuable rules that if you apply it correctly, you can even have that piece of birthday cake, and not put on the weight.

I cannot eat refined carbs I pick up immediately, natural carbs in vegetables, in moderation seems to be my thing. Milk is a huge nono, one cup of coffee now and then is no problem but consuming it regularly triggers weight gain.

I must admit that even after refeed, I will still be eating the same foods to maintain. I will obviously eat foods with other spices etc, but generally, I ate what I like most on the food list during the diet so for myself, I won't be going on a binge spree, I don't feel that I missed out.

During my diet I still had take-aways with my family, but when we ordered burgers, I had my burger, but gave them the rolls to eat. But that was it, no chips, and no soft drinks and only on the odd occasion, this was the exception, not the norm.

Good luck I have to do 22 days of the refeed programme, I'm almost on maintenance.

Thanks, we are there, Im out of my skin. For the journey to transformation, all I can say....IT WAS WORTH THE EFFORT! I ABSOLUTELY ENJOY MY NEW SELF, THE NEW CONFIDENCE, REVIVED ENERGY ETC.

ONLY REGRET.... ONLY FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS DIET RECENTLY....
