I've received some results, anyone who wants to be "head to head" with TBL08 and hasn't PM'd their weight for today, please do so. TBL08 is on tonight @ 6.30pm Channel Ten (Melbourne time) so your results should be in by then.

For now I think we should stick with the original idea of $5 pledge from each participant unless majority rules otherwise. (I have a mortgage, I don't have any money anyway! LOL.)

We'll need a color for our team - TBL has red, blue and "surprise" black; so how about purple for us? I'll need to investigate how to calculate %age lost but for now am happy to stick with total lost for this team at weigh-in each week.

All the best and may the best diet regime win

WAHOOOOooooooo it is PARTY TIME, let the challenge begin...... I am with you Magenta, $5.00 is enough for each person.. I was thinking if it was big $$$$ I know I would think twice about posting my results if I had a big loss because I wouldn't want people to think I was cheating.... I don't want the fun taken out of this and we are a team.....

Being called the PURPLE TEAM has my vote....

**Please PM your weight for today to me for the start of this challenge The Biggest Loser Vs Cohens. Weigh-in is every Sunday and PM's are to be recieved by 6.30pm every Sunday whilst TBL08 is on.

This is purely for fun but to be fair for all please PM your weight on time today - Sunday 3rd Feb or you'll be up for elimination if deemed by the rest of the team.

**Entry is a one off $5 to be held onto until Finale. Winner of total lost - cohens will decide on how the prize money is to be received and spent.

**Our team color is purple. Maybe if you're watching the show, on weigh-in days you could wear something purple.

**If you are unable to participate during the challenge for a week or two, please PM me your dates and you'll receive "immunity".

HEY what is this about wearing something purple for our weigh ins? I will be on the scales butt naked first thing in the morning.. hmm what about a purple ribbon?

When and where do we send our $5.00? and I vote that whoever wins it can decide on how they want to spend it.. ie new clothes or a charity etc

Winner from this challenge will decide what to do with prize money, not me (unless I win LOL.)

Format for TBL08 is as follows and we will have our weigh-in day the same:

Sunday: Weigh-In
Monday: Elimination
Tuesday: The Warehouse
Wednesday: Temptation
Thursday: The Walk
Friday: Major Challenge

Hi yes i agree that $5 is plenty i wouldnt miss $5 when sending it but i would miss $ 24 since we are a single income family as im sure alot of us are. i agree with all the stuff and looking forward to getting on track with you all. wouldnt it be good if the whole forum decided over 500+ members all got in on it , not for the money but for the spirit.

Also Magenta what happens if some one wants to join in a few weeks into the comp will they be allowed to join????

Jacin

Oh crap!!! We don't have the Biggest Loser screening on TV for some stupid reason?? Buggar, buggar ... the joys of remote Australia

We had it before...we don't have Channel 10 instead we have Imparja (which is a mix of 9 and 10) seems in their wisdom they decided not to run with it, either that or we get it late

That's the spirit Daisy. I'll have to get myself a purple singlet too, LOL, I've only got black! That's a shame Hexi2, as soon as the episode re-cap is up I'll pop it in.

Hey Hexi

I'm spewin we're not getting the biggest loser too. I get Imparja as well and they've decided to drop all TEN programming. I'm going to see if they have PODCASTS for it.
