Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
Count me in too - but what happens if we have less than 12 weeks on the program? (which may be a possibilty for me?)
Maybe us Cohenites who are on the program for 12 weeks are the best candidates for this thread? But yeh...it will be really exciting to be the 'Cohen's team' winning hands down!!! Common guys put your names down and then every Sunday we can compare our 'Cohen's team' to the 'Biggest Losers' Great motivation!!!

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
It's an open invitation and if anyone has less than 12 weeks, then the challenge would be to keep off the extra pounds/kilos and maintain. TBL in reality goes for about 5 months, so count backwards the number of weeks you need to make up your 5 months and do your total weight lost from whatever your start weight was from. Our totals would be posted the same night of the Finale.
On the day of TBL08's first weigh-in day, we'll post ours too and follow suit at each weigh-in day. |

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
Hi All, I don't mind giving it a go but I have to say with the ridiculous amount of exercise they make them do - like we're talking full on exercise for 5+ hours a day that is why the lose so much. Give me Cohens anyway where I can still lose a good amount without killing myself at the gym.

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
TBL started about December so the contestants have already been going at it for awhile, just like some of us on Cohen's. Their 12 weeks ends about March and then the final three plus all the other eliminated contestants will already be home on their own. End of April or sometime in May will be the finale, this should be plenty of time for us to really give this a good go. TBL contestants train like athletes, doing an average of 4 hours of exercise a day. This level of exercise is unrealistic for most people; it’s even hard for the contestants to keep up once they go home.

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
It'll be interesting to see the comparisons though it would be nice to have someone start the programme at the same time as the show as the first month is the biggest loss.
I hope you're not planning on voting people out every week ! |

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
Hello all Challenging the Biggest Loser Cohenites~
I would LOVE to challenge myself to maintain my weight between 49-52kg (my cohen range is 52-55kg) now that i am completing refeed today . Perhaps i can start a thread in the refeed and beyond section for any who might like to keep that goal weight low, low low and using the T>V> show as incentive. After all, those of us who have completed the program can do as much exercise as we like and the show always did motivate me to get moving! I plan to do one or two classes (Les Mills) Mon - Frid = 10 hours a week! Nothing like TBL contestants doing 4 hrs a day but, trust me, it is worth waiting till the end to do the exercise, you dont need to overdo it once you drop the body fat % way down! I am even getting comments and attention from all the skinny, toned, 6 pack personal trainers and gym instructors. Some have even done body building comps and they say, "you are so little now, there is nothing of you!" and there am i in my skin tight gym gear! Loving it! Pandora |

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
What a great idea - I will still be going in May so I am all for the ride. Anything to keep the motivation going.
See you Sunday! Yeh Daisy.

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
I'm not voting anyone off and I don't have the prize money at the end either, sorry 'bout that! Hope that doesn't de-motivate! It's more of a comparison week to week and then the tally at the end/finale. We could take our start weight from when TBL08 first started which was late last year. Daisy, was it you who applied? If yes, do you know when the contestants were to enter TBL house? Or does anyone else know when they entered? Googling's not helping!

Re: The Biggest Loser v's Cohens
I'll be in that, I'm starting the day before TBL starts, hopefully my weightloss matches one of the contestants. I've been told the first week is expected to be a big loss.
