Question Losing Weight AFTER Maint Goal?

I haven't started yet, but just thinking ahead and have a question. What if you reach your goal range, but when you get there you want to continue losing weight?

Can you not request re-feed and request an extension? That is my understanding.

Red face Wrong title

I meant to title it...losing weight after hitting GOAL WEIGHT that Dr. Cohen selects for you.

Sorry for the confusion. It's almost bedtime here.

Quite a few have done it in the past. Most of those who have done that have had subsequent problems keeping the weight down though and have eventually go back on the program to get back down again. I think that deliberately going below may not be advisable, at lease not without getting a new program based on new blood tests and measurements. Again, guess it depends on the individual and their control. I could see possibly getting to goal and then maintenance for a while and if you have no maintenance problems (spiraling out of control - bingeing) then maybe. Most I have seen though have eventually realized that it was a mistake in the long run.
