Default Light Headedness

Just wondered if any one getting close to or on Refeed gets light headedness and any suggestions?

HI

Yep Bri, I am really suffering dizzyness right now. Don't know if it's too much water, not enough, or my salt intact etc. Though you are quite a bit closer to it than I am. I did read somewhere that it is one of the signs you are getting ready for refeed. How exciting.

Oh really... I've been getting that these days too.
I thought I was just too caught up at work!

I suffered dizziness several times during the diet. Cutting back on water stopped it for each time (I started with four litres a day).

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

I get dizzy if Im overdoing it and if I get up to fast. I drink about 4.5 litres a day and cut it back if it stays for too long. I drank 3lts pre cohens anyway.

Just take care with it. I think it was Andy who ended up losing a couple of teeth due to a fall in the street because of his dizziness.

Good Luck

I am suffering badly from giddiness still - three months after finishign the diet. Its getting worse and worse and I think I will have to see the dr.

I need to be very careful getting up or down, even lifting my head from the pillow is a problem

It started about a month or so before refeed and as yet hasnt gone away.

Definitely see your doctor, Cheral. I think that three months after the diet any effects that are directly related to the diet should be long gone.

About 2 months after starting I began getting lightheaded, more often in the afternoons though. My clinic suggested taking another multi vitamin at lunch time and I found it really helps.

With that said, however, I have been experiencing it more often (even with the extra mv) in the last few weeks getting closer to my goal. I'm a few days into refeed now and it's dropped off quite a bit.

Cheers,
HB
