Tzatziki lunch with apple crumble dessert


Recipe Description
A meal of Tzatziki dip and vegies followed by a wicked dessert 
Ingredients:
Dessert:
1 apple (allowance)
1 cracker (allowance)
Sprite zero
Cinnamon and crushed sweetener mixed well.
100g Greek style Yoghurt (from allowance)

Meal:
75g Greek Style Yoghurt
Cucumber, peeled, halved, seeded and Grated (30g of allowance)
1/2 garlic clove (crushed from allowance)
celery sticks (rest of allowance) 
Preparation Steps:
Prepare dessert first to allow for setting, all dishes should be prepared in advance as the flavour needs to permeate the yoghurt.

Instructions:
Dessert:
Stew Apple in Sprite zero until semi soft, scoop out apple and set aside, mix juice into Yoghurt and mix well, place in freezer until crystals form, mix well, return to freezer until crystals form, mix well, freeze until ready to eat.

On a foil lined tray chop up apple and sprinkle with crushed cracker, cinnamon and crushed sweetener.
bake until apple is soft and cinnamon is browned.

Dinner:
Combine yoghurt, grated cucumber and garlic, mix well. Refridgerate at least 1 hour.
Chop celery into sticks.

dip celery sticks into dip and enjoy as dinner, follow with warmed apple crumble and apple-y ice cream .

sounds good! where did you find nonfat greeke yogurt?? Over here i us greek yogurt as a substitue for sour cream it is so fat laden!

hey carrie_anne,

Black swan make a non fat greek yoghurt here which is on sale in the supermarket.

Yeah, I though it sounded yum too, until I double checked my plan, no vegies with yogurt for me

Sorry to bring up the yogurt thing again but is the Black swan yogurt allowed?
