Exclamation Prevent Hairloss

Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you have taken precautionary measures to prevent hair loss from rapid weight loss on Cohen's? I have always had really thin hair so am PARANOID that I will lose some and I really cannot afford to. Did some research and found that supplements such as Biotin, Silica and folic acid can promote hair growth and stop shedding.

If anyone has any experiences/advice concerning this would love to hear from you

Happy Sunday xx

Hi I have been on Cohen's since June last year and started taking the blackmores healthy nails, hair & skin because my hair had thinned considerably (and quite noticeably). I have noticed that since I have started taking it my hair has started to regrow whihc I am please about. On refeed at the moment but will keep on taking them for the forseeable future so my skin shrinks back as much as possible on its own.

I am using the blackmores nails, hair and skin tablets...

I did experience hair loss on my first time on Cohens, not heaps but I was getting worried. In the end, I didn't care... I would rather be slim and it does grow back!

Yes for me the hair skin and nails formula is in addition to my multi vitamin, my fish oil and additional chromium.

And I am with lil doll I would rather be skinny and have thin hair because it will grow back

Nomoreexcuses,
I have always had thin hair, especially on the top of my head unforunately.
I take the hair skin and nail tablets each morning on top of my multi vitamin, vitamin C and fish oil tablet and haven't seen a difference with any extra hair loss than normal.

I did have hairloss my last time. My dr found that my cortisol levels were high and gave me a herb to help with that. Cant remember what at the time.
For now Im taking the newways orachel multi and b/mores hair skin formula and some fish oil.
Does anybody know if hemp oil is allowed, it most prob isnt, I should ask my clinic to be sure.

I am losing sooo much hair, filling a brush every morning and getting fingers full through the day. Im feeling like hearing form someone that experienced similarly but has had it grow back lushly! My hair and skin are the two nice things Ive had going for me while being overweight. Really want to know Im not going to be skinny and bald and wrinkly lol.

Hey Be_light...

Yep my hair fell out. I have also had an alopecia issue in the past, so I freaked out. Big time!

It seemed to sort itself out... And I didn't notice much of anything in refeed and beyond. I have curly hair which means I don't brush between washes... So I do still lose a heap when I brush, buit it's accumulative.

Are you keeping up with your vits? Do you take the hair, nail, skin supplement? And a fish oil or flaxseed?? Our bodies are busy keeping us upright and so some things don't get taken care of.. Like replenishment of hair etc. That's why we need to use the vitamins religiously!!

Oh another vitamin I should be taking then... I currently take the Multi Vits, fish oil (mornings) and also magnesium (at nights). Think I may start taking the hair, skin and nails one as well as my nails are brittle and hair is already rather thin - though haven't noticed it falling out as yet.... better to be safe than sorry though!
