Hey everyone!

So I went for my first weigh in for my new plan and I haven't put on anything since the doctor weighed me 2 months ago so that's a bonus.

The thing that is really stressing me out, is I have to put down a $400 deposit to get my new plan then pay in installments the rest of the amount.

I really can't afford this as I'm not working at the moment.

I don't know what to do really getting me down.

Has anyone had success with their old plans?
Let me know your stories!

Hi ICDT

I've just started on a second plan 6 weeks ago, last time I did this was about 15 yrs ago so plan was definitely out of date. I did use the old plan while waiting for my new plan to arrive and still lost some weight from 74.7 to 72.8 while waiting. Like you I was hesitant about the cost of a new plan and wondering if my old plan would work but once my new plan arrived was convinced as the weights were so different from my old plan. I'm in Cairns and although I'm supposed to use Darwin I signed up again with Brissy instead, not that I'm don't like Darwin it's just I thought Brissy suited me. My initial contact was via Sydney clinic and by that I've found that different clinics seen to have differing payment structures as each is a franchise in their own right. I think Sydney has a monthly payment structure and Brissy you pay in two instalments 375 before bloods get sent then 375 before you get the plan....hope that helps answer your question....cheers Sandi

Hi sandi

Thanks for your reply! I'm just trying to figure out ways to get the $400 to pay for it.

I am currently using my old plan.

I got in contact with my old clinic and kept her up to date on how I was going... She said it seemed like my old plan was working and to continue on it.

I wasn't overly hungry on my old plan. If I felt like I was too hungry and that my losses weren't too good, I would have gotten a new plan.

Good idea ICDT, I'm using my old plan too, day 6 today. I'm not hungry or anything, so will see tomorrow how the weigh in goes. No harm in trying aye

Just wondering if you started back on your old plan? My first weigh in was 3.4kg and 13cms, so pretty happy with that
