Yummy I do similar and mix it up with different herbs. I also do the chicken nuggets (maybe in the recipe book?) which are yummy enough for my partner to love them too! He has tomato sauce of course lol. I've done it as snichtzel too!

like you CB, I flatten the chicken into a snichtzel and do this...all sorts of flavourings can be added to the crumbs, it's really nice

Perhaps all the oil and frying is why you can't 'loose weight on your scales'.

I've tried similar to make crumbed calamari - how do you get the crumbs to stay on? Wetting the chicken? we cant use egg.. or is this the bit about the spray on oil?

I just crumb it straight from the tray it comes in so it is a bit wet. Just pat it on then put in a dish and sprinkle the leftover on top.

I don't think it's specifically mentioned in our programs but it is mentioned in our official recipe books - so it should be fine, but not the smoked paprika? If I'm not mistaken.

I used to make my crispy chicken with a little Himalayan salt, garlic powder and Italian herbs - very tasty.

Hi Tes,

Glad you enjoyed it too

With regards to paprika my plan says "Pure spices (paprika, tumeric etc)" so paprika definitely on the acceptable list for me, it is listed under the condiments and herbs section. HTH
