Very true, I would even be happy with one that worked over time with effort, can't even find one of those.

Hi Gug,

Just wish there were some magic exercises for upper arms, anyone know of any?

Check out Shell's Diary (Maintenance, I think - but could be wrong... ) I don't recall if she SAID what she was doing, but was looking pretty damn good (with photos) with her arms.

Hey Shell, you out there? Help me out here....

Phew I have spent the last couple of days reading Shell's maintenance diary, very inspiring indeed. She does mention exercise, but nothing specifically about upper arms. Never mind I shall keep puddling along.

I am back on track again, weight is coming off and I am feeling more focused and in control. Still feeling a bit hungry between meals but figuring that is still a bit of a hangover for deviating on those 2 days. Serves myself right, but I am just ignoring it right now. Still 45 minutes until afternoon fruit and crackers, but all is good.

But I only started after I was on maintenance.

Good luck and keep up the great work.

Hi Gug,

Sorry, I keep forgetting about "Photo Diaries" (we stopped using these about a year ago). But, when Shell was on her journey, the Photo Diaries were "the go".

Anyway, to save you looking, go here :-
http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=191889#post191889

Since her photo diary is only seven pages, its probably worth checking it all out anyway (to see where Shell came from, and where she ended up).

Note too, Shell stayed clear of exercise until on Maintenance. Still, her photos may well be an inspiration in "knowing what is possible" !!

Wow that was a lot of replies in a very short space of time. Well mcpsych I ended up drinking 750ml of water while waiting for my 45mins to go by, nice fruit is getting hard to find here now, so pretty much sticking to apples and oranges at the moment, there is no way I am spending $6 for a hard mango the size of an avocardo, just insane. And to top that all off the only oranges I can get in town are imported, ordinarily I would just do without, but I have no choice atm grrr. Shuki kiwi fruit I love but like the mangoes they are rock hard!

Thanks Shell for the links, your maintenance diary was truly inspirational, thank you for sharing your life, ups and down so honestly with the rest of us.

Thanks heaps Koh I appreciate the link, I have been exercising long before starting the program, and my program was designed for me with that in mind. Just to be on the safe side I won't be increasing the amount of exercise I am doing, just changing a few things, I am getting bored with what I am doing right now, I will definitely waiting until maintenance to up the pace that is for sure.

Gremlin, I am looking forward to checking out Shells photo's, I really hate my arms, more than anything else.

Time for me to go and feed my MTGG!

Well done Koh, you go to the top of the class, not that the big lump has ever been hungry in his life, and after all this rain we have had there is so much grass he really doesn't need feeding. But being so incredibly spoilt he will sulk in the corner for days if I don't at least give him a token feed.

haha how did you guess, he is worth it though. A semi retired gentleman who was a very successful dessage competition horse. He has earned the right to be a pampered old man now. He is my sanity!!!

And he still manages to scream around the paddock kicking and squealing like a 2 year old.
