Default Cracker question

i started with Premiums (not the lite version - i read the list of ingredients on the lite version and there were far too many for me when i compared it to the normal version), then decided i would try salada's and hated them, so back to Premiums for me...they are slightly saltier than the salada's i think, which is probably why i prefer them.

Default Cruskits?

Help I've left my program book at home and I can't remember if we are allowed to have Cruskits as our crackers or not.

If so - they're half the weight of Vitaweet (which i know is allowed) so does that mean we can have more of them as our cracker allowance? hahaha

(PS Search function doesn't work for me so forgive me if this has been asked before...)

Default Crispbread

I have a rather confusing question, that I probably should have asked aaages ago, but I did check with consultant, and it wasn’t until now that I realised I still don’t know the correct answer!

The Salada crackers come in a sheet of 4 small squares and the Premium come in a line of 2 small squares. I am wondering, are the Salada's (4 small squares) counted as one or two crispbreads?

^^^ SALADA…. Would this be considered as 2 crispbreads from my allowance of 5?

^^^ PREMIUM

Or am I just completely insane and totally incorrect all together, and that dodgy diagram that took me ages to draw was all for nothing??

Thanx for your help!

Hi Emma,

Love the diagrams.

Salda 4 squares is counted as 2 serves. And the 2 little squares in the premium crackers are counted as 1 serve. So basically you can have 10 of the little sqaures to make up your 5 servings. Make sense or have I confused you more!!

Damble.

Default Something new

HI everyone

Aaaaaggggeeessss ago... I asked about pro-vitas... no one seemed to have heard of them ...

However this past appt with my clinic... I asked about them... and we're allowed to have them...

one cracker = one crispbread (got that Emma ?!?*LOL*)

My husband is from Zimbabwe and most of the clinic I go to seem to be from Zim or South Africa! They're very popular over there...

They taste very very much like granitas..you know the biscuit...Not quite as sweet but very different texture and taste...

You must buy the provitas original wholemeal though and not the multigrain...

Really nice with coffee or tea

Hey gorgeous girl! I love your updated picture, the beauty was always shining thru but now even more! You are such an asset to this forum. I cant wait to go searching for those Pro-Vita to give me some variety. Who makes them? i.e. Arnotts or ? And i presume same size serve, around 15g = 1 serve? Pandora

My plan I had to weigh them as we only get Saltines here they are the smaller and lighter. I want to say it is 5.8 grams per cracker/crisp bread. So I can have 4 per serving.

Cabbage you can have red or white don't matter.

Hi Pandora,

I must admit that I only looked in Foodland, never had time to check out Woolies or Coles.. I do find that Foodland has a better range of items though, they tend to stock things the other 2 wont..

It's roughly 15g per serve, but yes, the 4 squares of Salada is 2 serves.

And no, you're not silly, it's the MOST ASKED question with new people. :P

Hope that helps.
