Default Wobbles from South Africa

Good Afternoon!

I am brand new to this site, well have been lurking around for some time, but decided it is high time to introduce myself.

Still trying to figure out how to work this site.

I have been on Cohen's for 2 weeks now and it it going well. Although my emotions have been up and down, I have been strong and kept to my eating plan.

I will start a diary as soon as I have time.

Have a great day!

Wow 7.8kg in 2 weeks Keep up the good work Wobbles.

I am also in South Africa in Pretoria, starting my programme on 1 March 2014 and really looking forward to seeing the kilograms drop.

I am lurking around here for motivation and courage.

Hallo! Yebo, in my head 7.8 is good, but there is so much of me, that it still is only a drop in the bucket. I am also lurking around, do not really know where to look and what to read, but it keeps me motivated. I will still be around in March, so please let me know how your journey is going. I am in Bloem.
I still need to do the diary, hopefully over the weekend. Keep Well!

Welcome Wobbles! You're off to a great start!! 7.8 in 2 weeks is amazing!

Welcome to the forums! I find reading other people's diaries, the tips, discussions, recipes and challenges threads on the forums - all have great info and will help you learn more about the diet and our shared experiences as we all get through it.

I look forward to reading more about you in your diary once you set it up!

Hallo!

Today the wind has taken my feet from under me with a gain of a whopping kilogram! No deviation....just the normal pattern. I hope that it is only water and that I will have a better result later in the week.
I am weigh myself daily, just because I need to get confirmation that what I am doing is fine.

I have to admit, the first two weeks were not easy, I did not really suffered from headaches but the mental battle was crazy! I feel much better though, more in charge.

Have a splendid evening.

Yeh, our weights fluctuate... Don't worry about it. Unless it continues- then you need to check and double check everything just in case something is slipping through accidentally. You'd be surprised how easy it can happen!

If you weigh daily you have to be able to make a promise to yourself that you won't stress over slow losses or gains.

Hey Wobbles.

Yes I agree the mental battle is crazy! Amazing how hard it is to break some mental patterns, even when we really want to.
You are doing so well though, really a super start. I'm quite jealous, haha!

Thank you for your post in my newbie thread. Come and find me in the new diaries section if you like. I haven't had such a great first week, but the only way is up!

Hallo Gay'zin, great to hear from you. Looks like I have the same about to loose that you have lost already. You must be very proud of yourself. I cannot wait to get there!

Yes, I am checking in regularly, but not as much as in the beginning, because it became a bit addictive, much to the dismay of my family! Ha, luckily they are very supportive and my amazing hubby prepares my food as I am terrible in the kitchen.

Wait, I am going to have a look at your diary quicly and get inspiration!

Have a wonderful day!

Good Evening!

I hope all is well. I am a bit dissapointed. I have been fluctuating between 96.9 and 95 and today 96.4 for 10 day now. I am drinking my water, no deviations at all. I have been searching this forum thoroughly and know that everyone differs and that I should not weigh daily. I will however not cheat, but just to want to let you know that I am frustrated.

OK, that out of my system, all is going well otherwise.

Have a splendid evening peeps!

Hi Wobbles

You probably would have read this some where but I will say it anyway, "you will be at a sticky weight" we all know how your feeling "it does your head in ah" when I was going through times like this I would go back and calculate my monthly loss "it made me feel better" I was (well still am) a daily weigher, it was a problem for me before I found this forum and I was at a sticky weight. After I found this forum (it still did my head in but more frustrated than beat myself up) reading other people's diary's and having Little Doll say "your at a sticky weight" I was more at ease with it.

It is really good reading other people's diary's for inspiration but just remember if your struggling you need to post so you will get responses/ encouragement and usually good information. The other thing is, even though your scales aren't showing less you have to remember a loss in measurement will be happening too also I believe your organs will be having a bit of a rest processing fat ..... with the loss you have had 11.5 kg "wow" your organs will be in the recliner for a bit getting ready for the next session lol.

Keep up the good work
Rebecca

Hi Wobbles - the bright side of this "sticky weight" situation is that when the scale moves it will jump.

I read someone's signature that goes like I will do what I need to do and the body will do what it must. Hang on, I am holding thumbs for you
