Hi Slender,

Welcome aboard !! Aussie forum yes, but open to all who are doing Cohens (plus one puppy who's not... ).

Great start already for you. Stick with it, and you'll be where you want to be before you can say Expialafragilisticexpialidocious !!

BTW, we have (or have had) many from SA, and I am sure some here now will stop by to say "Springboks rule" at some stage...

Who knows, you might even find a neighbour on here.

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Hi Slendertobe (love your name by the way) Im not an Aussie Im a kiwi and you'll find heaps of different nationalities on here so you will always be welcome as we are all one big family as we are all on the same journey, just at different stages!
COngrats on your fantastic loss so far!! Isn't it awesome feeling your clothes getting too big and you will start to see shortly other effects from your weight loss like better skin, better sleeping patterns, less aches and pains and more energy, well thats what I found anyway! Keep up the water and stick to your plan and always tell yourself that a deviation is added time to get to your goal so don't deviate as it delays your weight loss!
This program WORKS its awesome and it will make you feel 100% better about yourself, do start to save money thou as you will need it to buy a whole new wardrobe!!

Take Care
Kat

Hi Kailey

I am loving having gone back to my old clothing that didn't fit me anymore, and so amazed at the difference in just a short space of time!!!! Thank you for your encouragement, I do not plan to deviate, and am hoping that even the Dec hols I'll be sticking to my plan, I wanna see the look on my colleagues faces come Jan when we go back to work!!!! lol!!!!...I cant believe its me, no chocolates!!!! My friends cannot believe that when we go out, I do not even think about having something outside my plan. Both the times I went out I made sure I ate first so I can have tea, or my sprite zero when they eat, and it has worked out fine for me.....

I really don't know whether I had this social life before, lol, cause it seems that i am going out a lot since my programme!

Anyway, am really glad to have come to the forum, it has helped me a lot!!!
Later!

I use the Woolies Probiotic fat free natural yoghurt. I have also used the Clover one if I am at Pick n Pay. I mix it with cooked apple and it is yummy.

Well done on a Deviation Free weekend

Hey Slender,

Thanks for your message and lovely words.

Welcome to Cohens. You are doing a superb job already so well done. It is nice to get all the old clothes out of the wardrobe and wear them again and one day you will find you have nothing left that fits unless you have some size 10-12's hiding in there.

Looking forward to following your journey.

Sapphire

Congratulations STB on the loss so far. Awesome start.

You are right, this forum is fantastic and just the thing to inspire, encourage and add a bit of wisdom and truth to the journey we are all on.

Hope the flu passes soon and you are feeling better.

Oh what a week.....turns out the flu was not playing, have been off sick with Laryngitis.....my husband must have been in heaven, a wife that can't speak.....lol!!!

I am feeling much better though and back at work, twas nice little holiday while it lasted. I am amazed that whilst I was sitting at home, sick and alone, I didn't eat anything outside my plan, I would normally binge, finding any excuse to just eat junk, and there I was, with no one who can see what I was doing, and yet I just stuck to it! Proud moment for me even if I say so myself!!!!

Thank you Shell......I am really amazed by your how far you have come, and all the best until you reach your goal, which looks like its gonna be soon.....

happy monday!!!

Hi Slender,

I hope you are feeling better now. Hehehe - I am sure your husband enjoyed the peace and quiet but you can make up for it as soon as you are better

Well done on achieving a personal challenge by not bingeing whilst unwell. I think these little tests are there for us to learn throughout our journey.

Enjoy your week.
