Default What "Classics" would you like to see in here?

Hi all,

The "Classics" forum has been formed to become a receptacle of inspiring/notable posts and threads that are dotted throughout the various forums on Newyou.

The idea is for people to be able to come to one place to find those posts that may be almost "hidden" in someone's diary, or elsewhere.

Also, it is hoped to become a "one stop shop" for a bit of inspiration when required.

As such, most threads on here will be "Closed" (i.e. you can't post in them). Others, like this one, will remain Open to INVITE your contributions.

It's early days for this forum, so things may change.... but, for now, THIS thread is provided for YOU to point to any outstanding articles you have seen, and that you believe are "right up there with the best".

Please provide a link too (it saves me a lot of work in tracking them down).

Koh

Ok Koh,

Now I get how this works - will be searching for good posts about eating out and going on holidays. I will link them in here when I find them. Anyone else want to link ones they find too. Please join me.

This seems ot be one of the biggeest challenges on Cohens and this can be a quick reference for everybody.

Thanks
Shanara

Hi Shanara,

and thanks - some gems in that lot

What would you think best for a title? Here's a couple of ideas, but what do YOU think? Pick your fave, and I'll make it happen.... and, of course, add your own, as you'd likely come up with the RIGHT title...

Staying on Plan while travelling

How do we eat out while on Cohens - tips and tricks

The importance of staying on Plan while travelling - and how to...

Over to you,

Koh

vBulletin has a very good FAQ system. See the link at the top right. I think adding the common questions these posts answers to the FAQ would be a great way to help search all the Classics. The FAQ can just provide links to the posts you've collected.

Anyway, really good stuff there, Shanara - thanks

Thanks jlou,

I've appended it to an existing "How do I eat out?" post in the "Important Posts that get lost" thread.

Koh here are some posts I have finally found after searching and thought it would be worth adding them here...

http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthr...highlight=lose

in particular post # 2 from Asy (why you shouldn't deviate even a teeny bit) and post #4 from Kristine explaining it isn't fluid we lose in the early days and she explains it more here:
http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthr...highlight=lose

Thanks puppy *scratching behind the ears*

Hi jlou,

Hehe, I'm about 3 months ahead of you - here:-

That second post probably belongs toward the end of that first one (by way of explanation...). I'll check the first thread again, to ensure it was THAT one in which Kristine used the wrong name - if so, I'll add it to the thread.

Thanking further, if the dates fit, this might be one of those rare occasions when a "Merge" is called for .... leave it to me.

And thanks, darl - great input, and appreciated,

Koh
