Re: Waiting for my programme
Hi there, yay for another kiwi! If you are prepared to give it your best, your absolute VERY best, then there is no reason why you wont succeed. I am on my fourth week and it is the easiest programme I have tried. I am a caterer, so believe me when I say that if I can do it, ANYONE can. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Re: Waiting for my programme
Hi
I remember that feeling of can I/will I, but it will be ok. The programme is strict but so easy to follow. There is no second guessing yourself or worrying if you should or shouldn't eat something - if it's not in your programme, it doesn't go in your mouth. I'm finding it freeing rather than restrictive. You'll love it! |

Re: Waiting for my programme
I normally fail at diets cos you end up starving hungry in between meals and just give in to temptation. With this diet, you not only know exactly WHAT to eat, you can also plan out your meals and snacks so that you are, literally, eating something every 2 - 3 hours. Which means you do not have a chance to complain of hunger .
You can do it FF. And the extremely supportive people on this forum are here to support you!

Re: Waiting for my programme
Hi Mark your quote with your signature made me laugh, I do agree it is about won't power. I tell myself every day 'I control the food the food does not control me'. It is hard... for mother's day my children bought me a huge bag of darryl lea chocolates and homemade slices, biscuits and truffles and one son bought me a 36 pack of pepsi max(he got the biggest kiss). I am happy to say they are packed up in the freezer. The kids will probably end up sharing them one day but now they are out of sight out of mind if it gets too bad they will move house. At times I feel it is unfair that I cannot be thin and eat what I want but I have two legs, two arms and a heartbeat and that is more than some people have got. Being a nurse makes you very humble sometimes and very appreciative of what and who you are. If it is only fat I have to deal with then I can do something about that so compared to a lot of others it isn't hard at all. Have a great day everyone remember one day at a time. cheers Karen
ps I would like to hear from anyone in the forum who works shift work and how they manage their program. |

Re: Waiting for my programme
Thanks for all the supportive messages! I can't wait to get started now and am going to ring the clinic in the morning and see if I can get my programme. I even got my hubby to take some pictures tonight <gulp> which I hope will end up being the 'before' shots.
Roll on week one! |

Re: Waiting for my programme
Have got my programme! Yipee!
And just through lurking on this forum and talking to my friend who is also doing Cohens I had lost 1.7kg on the clinic scales - bonus. So thanks to the many of you who have given me the inspiration to start this journey. I look forward to getting to know you along the way. FF x |
